If I ever have a girlfriend who says something I don't like, I'll beat the shit out that whore!

It's fascinating how psychotically violent feminists are.
Feminist? Dude, I am a fucking male! I just don't like when people start acting all high and mighty, be it men or women. Men are not better than women and women are not better than men. Everyone has their pluses and minuses. And beating the shit out of someone because they said something you don't like? Jeez... But fine, I guess that's your way of doing things and I don't really care to judge a stranger.

I wasn't aware that men could be feminists... Oh well, guess we learn something new every day. Anyways, why are you bothering to correct everyone? You may state your opinion, but there is no need to try to "enforce it" on someone. Now I am not making any accusations, but that's how I feel. Anyways, as with everyone else, I respect your opinion.

Why does everyone have to point out the difference between a man and a woman? There is no difference (except the whole body structure, y'know)!
You say that as if biological differences don't mean anything (when they so obviously do).

There is no "normal" way to behave
2 a : according with, constituting, or not deviating from a norm, rule, or principle b : conforming to a type, standard, or regular pattern

and the fact that some men believe that women must be stuck at home and never try anything are ridiculous poisonous fuckheads who need to retard themselves out of existence or go fuck themselves with a chainsaw. Seriously, If I ever have a friend who treats his wife like this I will personally kick the crap out of him!
If I ever have a girlfriend who says something I don't like, I'll beat the shit out that whore!

It's fascinating how psychotically violent feminists are.

So, your entire argument is based on a generalization? Yep, don't see any flaws in that argument. Or an argument to have flaws at that point.
Generalizations are not inherently correct or incorrect.

General: applicable to or characteristic of the majority of individuals involved.
So, Hispanics in America are illegal immigrants? The majority are, so all of them must be! You see the flaw in your logic?

Hey, hoopyfrond, I'd love to debate with you about how all feminists hate males. Especially since I am a male feminist, and I really do not hate myself.
"This generalization doesn't apply to me, so it can't be true!"
"Most women/feminists i know are like this, so this has to apply to most of all women. This is a fact, and everyone who says otherwise is wrong."

"Few women/feminists I know have this applied to them so it must be wrong." Round and round it goes, either someone bring up facts or continue with this moronic circle logic.

Not so much a fact, more food for thought, but ever since (somehow) Feminist became a dirty word it has rarely been a title one chooses for oneself, and has become some sort of branded insult decided upon via mob justice. Feminism as seen by people ignorant of its history and aims isn't 'overtaking' the older feminism, it doesn't exist. However, while it serves as a quasi-silver bullet in a highly ironic smoking gun we'll not see the end of such attitudes.

Cool, looks like Rolling Thunder has some kind of special permission to troll and flame, but when I point out that he is trolling I get probated for "flaming."
You could have used better language and not sunk to the level of swearing at him. If the moderators see nothing wrong with his posts there isn't any thing wrong with them.

You have not proven or demonstrated in any shape or form that I am a troll, whereas I have clearly expained why you are one. And you have not responded with any counter-arguments.

Though I rarely do this, I am hitting the report button. Your trolling is starting to annoy me.

Modern trolls don't do any traditional trolling. Instead, they randomly accuse everyone else of trolling, and attempt to derail threads into debates about whether or not someone is a troll.
If you are so angered by rolling thunder just ignore him and don't respond to his posts.

There are a lot of self-identified feminists, women and men who've invested a lot of time thinking and reading and talking about their ideals and beliefs. Then there are the people the media put up on the screen and call "feminists." There isn't a hell of a lot of overlap there in my experience. Media "feminists" are like media "gamers" - largely a creation of the media that doesn't have the attention span to work with anything but their own marketable, self-generated archetypes.

I am a self-identified feminist and have been for 20 years. I listen to people talking about what feminists say and what feminists do and what feminist think and think, "Who the hell are these feminists you are talking about, because they aren't any of the feminists I know."

Really?

Wow. Things must be bad in Australia, old fellow. I've yet to see any evidence that feminism, or believing women have equal status and rights to men, is so anything close to as stigmatised here as it is over there. Hell, I'd describe myself as a feminist, and I know my mother does, and no-one ever dared laugh, joke or say anything about it to me.

Australia? I'd bet money I only need to go back 5 pages of this forum to find a few examples.
