Audiosurf [http://store.steampowered.com/app/12900/] for $2.50 is a complete no-brainer. If you don't have it, you have no excuse now.

They should just make computers a couple bucks more expensive and throw that in automatically, it makes listening to music so much awesomer.

Just picked up STALKER and Audiosurf.

And here I was worried I wouldn't have enough games to get me through my next Uni term.

Still have to 100% Plants Vs Zombies as well. Might get Trine while I'm here after listening to TotalBiscuit talk about it a while back.

Was it TB? Might have been Yahtzee. All these cynical Brits just merge into one after a while.

Edit: £7.50 for Torchlight? Yoink. I'll be having that.

Why S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is awsome you ask?
Well
-one of(if not) the best atmosphers in a game yet(only S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat cr0wned that)
-Big game world, with secrets, with a dynamic AI live(especially in Call of Pripyat)
-Good community
-lots of patches, and what isnt patched has been fixed by the community already
- Actually good Multiplayer(But why would you need it in this game...)
- there are lots more but i have chrismas preparations to do
-Mods

Soooo... Worth 2 bucks?

And when you say mods, would that even compare against GTA 4? Cause I just got that and am preparing to mod the funk out of it, but if there's a better mod funk-around game...

Anyway, what exactly do you do in it?

Mate, I payed 40 dollars for my STALKER experience a few years back and thought it was worth every penny.

It's two dollars, just buy the damn game and figure out what it's about.

I think I'm going to have one of those experiences wherein I see all sorts of things I own for ludicrously cheap prices, and then commence weeping because I paid full price.

Hopefully there's something on that list I was interested in but had not yet nabbed.

Well, I wouldn't say it's wasted; GTA4's still a great game.

In Stalker you basically just try to survive in a radioactive hellhole. It's a quasi-tactical-action-horror-rpg-openworld-shooter.

It was okay even before modding. You just MUST patch it. Still modding emproves one of the finest shooters ever into something even greater.
