Heh. Yea, it's usually like that. =P

Off topic, anyone else notice the similarities between Virtual Light and Mirrors Edge?

There's a lot of ridiculous deals in the Indie Games [http://store.steampowered.com/genre/Indie/] section. Looks like a ton of stuff is 75-80% off

Audiosurf [http://store.steampowered.com/app/12900/] for $2.50 is a complete no-brainer. If you don't have it, you have no excuse now.
Thank you Virgil, for pointing this out (and Andy Chalk for the news, of course...) I'm soo getting Audiosurf. And Braid for, erm, say, legitimating purposes. Any other suggestions?

Now that Borderlands is down to £20 I'm definitely thinking of getting that, plus DLC :D

My purchase list for the end of the day is...

Braid
Audiosurf
Beyond Good and Evil
Time Gentlemen, Please double pack
Torchlight
Freedom Force double pack
Stalker Clear Sky
LucasArts Adventure Pack

So that's what, 13 games for a grand total of 35 bucks.

Holeeee shit. I'm secretly terrified of what other crazy deals they'll have the coming days.

I keep hearing people talk about Beyond Good and Evil. I checked it out and the graphics ain't so hot. Is that game actually any good?

Edit: Found something at the Stalker Clear Sky product page. Found it pretty hilarious :D
Oops, this is embarrassing. Due to high demand we have temporarily run out of unique keys for this title. You may, by all means, purchase at the awesome sale price but may not be able to play until we receive more unique product keys. It shouldn't take too long, we have sent armed guards to the publisher's house to get them out of bed, drive them to their secret lair and produce more keys.
Alright, I just bought:

80 in 1 Atari classics pack
Audiosurf
Beyond Good and Evil
Chains (whatever the hell that is; it was one friggin' dollar, I thought what the hell)
Darwinia
The LucasArts Adventure Pack
Indigo Prophecy
Mirrors Edge
The OddWorld Pack and
Osmos, which was recommended to me by my science teacher.

And before you ask, I already owned STALKER, so...

...
Am I missing anything?

After the one they had a month or so ago, my wallet just can't take it *goes and blocks Steam until 3rd January*

Torchlight - $10
Beyond Good & Evil - $5
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - $2

Ok, so I already have BG&E on the Cube, but for $5 I'll gladly put a little more support towards that game in the hopes that a burst in sales will make Ubi Soft reconsider canceling the sequel. All-in-all though, that's under $20 for 3 fantastic games. A shame Zombie Driver didn't make the sale, I'd love to pick that up cheap.

I love and hate Steam for these sales. I got Audiosurf, Braid, Torchlight, and the Penumbra pack. My boyfriend bought tons. My mom also just joined Steam and bought several games via this sale. I have a feeling this won't be the end of it.

Curse you Steam!

I'm now 21 bucks and some change poorer than I was 10 minutes ago. T.T

Beyond Good and Evil
Evil Genius
Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition
World of Goo

They're kinda old...I hope they'll work on Vista. >.<

I finally got sniper elite, an amazing game that i've always meant to get but just never thought about, and when I saw it for 2 dollars I had to. I am not disappointed in the slightest.

We made a friend get the complete Valve pack for £39.99 instead of £59.99, now since that contains every game released by Valve ever its ridiculasy good value even before the offer. For the Price of L4d 1&2 he got those games and about 30 others.

That is a very fun and overlooked game.

Beyond Good & Evil might need some slight tweaking, but apart from that they all work perfectly fine on Windows 7. So I wouldn't sweat it.

Currently waiting for the new deals to be revealed...
As of now, I've purchased:

Beyond Good & Evil
Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy
Machinarium
Samorost 2
S.T.A.L.K.E.R - Shadow of Chernobyl
S.T.A.L.K.E.R - Clear Sky
Time Gentlemen, Please! + Ben There, Dan That
Trine
The Void
