Getting the Spider off Jill is the worst boss battle ever.

Ever. End of story.

What boss battles do you think come in second to that?

I'm thinking maybe the Nihilanth in Half Life. That was just awful. Not hard, just tedious and repetitive.

Did you try shooting it with a high powered handgun/rifle? Because that shaves off a TON of the device's health.

USE THE LONGBOW!

OT: The end boss in Borderlands 2. I breezed through it in no time, while the robots I had to kill to get there gave me the toughest fight in the game.

"Getting the Spider off Jill", someone please tell me what game that is from.

OT: Well I am not going to bother naming any mmo bosses, since I feel they are in their own class of terrible, so I will go with the end boss to KOTOR 2. Been so long I can not even fully remember how it went, something to do with 4 animated lightsabers.

Resident Evil 5. Jill Valentine has a mind control spider jammed in her cleavage and it's up to Chris to reach in there and yank it out. Sheva's job is to hold Jill down in a vaguely erotic manner while this is going down.

I'm gonna go with Resident Evil 5?

If it is, I hated that battle and just fighting Wesker in general. ._.

She was an absolute pain in the ass. Running away was surprisingly the best option there.

All of the bosses from the R-Type games were difficult when I was younger. Much rage was had.

Nice spoilers bro.

Anyways, I didnt thougt it was that bad. Its was, in fact, fairly easy... for what I remember of Resident evil 5. I dont remember much of it, except for this scene, for the final boss battle that was pretty epic:

Spam Lightning storm and run like a chicken! That's what a true Sith Lord does, right?

OT:
Finall boss "fight" in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine. One long boring QTE. That's not what a final boss in game like that is supposed to be.

The boss in Times Square in Prototype. Most of the boss fights in Prototype are awful - chipping away monotonously at their multitude of health bars - but even by those standards that one seemed to go on forever.

Oddly enough I killed the final boss in Prototype with surprising ease.

Dishonourable mention to the ship at the end of Crysis. Entirely unintuitive and uninteresting, given that it boils down to Use THIS gun and shoot it THERE when you are TOLD to. Repeat.

Not fought the real last boss then? Think of crawmerax in a threshers body ...

Yeah, I think I will have to go with these two bosses in borderlands 1 & 2. I have never beaten them and I don't think I ever will.

Do they really need to be about 20 levels higher than you and with more health than all the previous bosses combined?

I was gonna say the end boss of Borderlands 2 but then you had to remind me of Crawmerax.
Maaaaaaaaaaan, fuck that guy.

Sure, I may have killed him but only with a bit by cheating. Being a level 55 with a level 69 partner helped a bit, but even with the level 69 partner, we still got destroyed about...15 times in a row? It's just a vicious, unforgiving fight with a bastard monster that can't wait to rip your testicles off.

And thinking about it, the majority of the boss fights in Borderlands 1 after the half-way point. They just became bullet sponges eventually. :p

The final boss in Heavenly Sword. The battle is divided into three stages, each more infuriating than the last. Huge amounts of health, so fast you could barely get a hit in, and punishing attacks you could really only avoid getting slaughtered by if you employed the game's retarded deflection system which barely ever worked properly. ... All of my rage.

The Force Unleashed. The scene where you have to crash a Star Destroyer. With your mind. Sounds cool in theory. In practice, it was a frustrating, repetitive grind.

The games older than my dog, by now it's old enough to talk about.
Maybe for you, but not everyone on the planet has played the exact same games than you...

At the VERY least, put a simple "SPOILERS" in the title. Actually not even that would suffice because of the nature of the title itself. LOL.

I for one have yet to play half life 2 so I have been spoiled like hell and its annoying (Not so annoying in this case cause I am not that intersted on it anyway, but whatever)
