Aerosmith on the 15th at the O2. Gonna be good.

I haven't been to a gig in ages, so I'm determined to enjoy this. The last one was Jeff Beck, and he was really not on form.

I'm going to see Roger Waters next year, doing his last ever tTour of The Wall.

Also, I'm going to see Dara O'Briain doing a show this year, at around about september.

I've been to:

Michael Mciyntrea at the O2
Bill Bailey's Memarkable Guide, also at the O2.

They were the best things I've ever been to ever, unless Roger or Dara can top them.
I saw Roger Waters in Hyde Park in 2006, it was unbelievable, best gig I've ever been to, and The Who were on the following day! I really want to see him again, especially since he's recreating The Wall shows, the closest I've ever got to that was seeing the Australian Pink Floyd Show do it.

I did have to chuckle at the "Why do The Wall now?" bit on his website, since he should have just been honest and wrote "because nobody likes my solo stuff".

Since others are listing gigs they've been to, I think I'll do the same...

HIM (2004) (Shut up I was young and foolish).
Placebo (2006)
Hyde Park Calling Festival (Roger Waters, The Who) (2006)
Lordi (2006)
Kasabian (2006)
My Chemical Romance (2007)
Levellers (2007)
Turisas (2007)
Bill Bailey (2007)
My Chemical Romance (2007)
Turisas (2008)
Pink Fraud (Floyd tribute band :D) (2008)
Frank Turner (2008)
Mindless Self Indulgence (2008)
DragonForce (2008)
Dylan Moran (2008)
Less Than Jake (2008)
Australian Pink Floyd Show (2009)
Splendour Festival (Fun Lovin Criminals, The Pogues, Madness) (2009)
VNV Nation (2009)
Alestorm (2009)
Rammstein (2010)
Frank Turner (2010)
Dylan Moran (2010)
In The Flesh (Another Floyd tribute!) (2010)

There's a bunch of others that I saw at free festivals/as support acts etc... but these are just listed from all the ticket stubs I kept; Breed 77, Ocean Colour Scene, Combichrist etc... Saw Frank Turner for the first time way back when his first album came out, but can't remember when that was since I didn't have a ticket to keep.

I tend to get into a lot of bands due to seeing them as support acts, like I first saw Turisas open for Lordi (who I only really went to see "for the lulz") and loved them, then I saw Alestorm open for Turisas and got into them, and so on.

I've seen Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkin Park and Entombed + Amon Amarth. To be honest, I really hate metal gigs... I go to see the band, not to be headbutted by some fucking moshers. Playing at gigs is awesome though.

Not alot of bands playing around here this year.
But a friend of mine is playing in this Tool tribute gig next month. Might be awesome since there are some pretty decent musicians participating there.

Well, I saw Pendulum a few weeks ago, and I'll try to go see Gorrilaz when they come to Ireland, but other than that, Ive nothing lined up until I see Jean-Michel Jarre in October. :)

Went to SLAYER this last saturday, was fucking immense. I'm thinking of going Sonisphere or Bloodstock.

You a Teesside lad then? I'm from Stockton! (Originally, I've lived in Leicester for 3 years).

Gonna miss MML this year, but I'll be back up north in time for the Riverside/Fringe festival.
