1. Duck! (I have two scars that could have been avoided with that simple advice)
2. Exam results don't matter, you'll need the friends you made in school a lot more than anything else
3. Start getting tattooed earlier
4. Start a taxidermy collection earlier
5. When you watch "2 girls 1 cup" don't have coffee in your mouth or chocolate mousse in the house

- Look after yourself. Seriously, think about what you want, first. People will get hurt, but it's better in the long run. And you can't do everything.

- Develop a study technique, you'll need it when liquid intelligence isn't enough.

- Some people don't want to be right, don't waste your breath, and try to ignore opinions that don't affect anything.

- Don't buy Shadow of the Colossus second hand, it won't work. You'll still sit there unable to play a probably awesome game, and quite a bit poorer.

- Do more impulsive things, but keep cool.

- Turn women down more firmly, and more often.

My parents gave me the best advice when I was little:

Everything in moderation.
There is no fate but what you make.

For something I'd tell my younger self, don't wait for an opportunity, make one.

Sorry, just felt this was relevant.

OT: Work harder with your math homework. When I started doing this things got awesome.

This is the most pleasant way to tell you what 2 girls 1 cup is. Do not inquire more than what the song explains. I haven't watched it myself, but I know what it is.

Never get involved in a land war in Asia.

More seriously though? You shouldn't let fear keep you from trying new things and it's important to stick with something and practice even when it's no longer new and fun. I'd heard these lessons a lot but I never really "learned" them until some time later and by then a lot of opportunities had passed me by.

- In Love: Follow your Impulses and don't try to rationalize them - Love ain't supposed to be rational
- Never compromise your Principles out of cowardice or for convenience
- If you really need to get wasted: Try to drink as much water besides as possible and don't mix drinks like crazy. (If done right, you even could f.e. down half a bottle of vodka without getting a hangover.)

-oh...and don't drink half a bottle of tequila(it's your cryptonite) after you already drank some 60%hard liquor with a malibu-orange before, when already feeling sick after your moped gave up on the way to that party you then walked to in winter, where you meet a girl you just sort of "agreed" to be with out of convenience after making out with her once before and drown the awkwardness of the whole situation where you just sat there with nothing to do/say until she left....
Soooo when THEN comes the moment someone asks if he could get you something from the gas-station.....just don't say a bottle of tequila! you stupid,STUPID kid
*awkward silence* okayyy...that last one was oddly specific...alcohol-poisoning sucks unbelieveably hard

captcha: "lose face" / yup...that was the outcome

If you want something in life, go out and make it happen. The world doesn't owe you squat - it was here first.

Nothing is worth selling your integrity for.

The graveyard is full of people who would love to be dealing with your problems. (No, that's not a zombie reference... although it could be... [scheming commenced])

Yeah, it really is that bad. Just be glad no-one has ever tricked you into watching it or synchronized your desktop with a website sending that in a loop.

If you get a chance to do work experience in school, fucking take it.

At the moment, I'm stuck without a job and with no experience to get one. I was such an idiot in school :/

-Most people suck. Assume everyone you meet sucks until proven otherwise. It will save you ALOT of dissapointment.
-For the love of god just ask her out. She likes you and if you say no then it will be another 5 years until you get a girlfriend! Do you like being a virgin dumbass!

-Don't ask her out. It just causes a fuckton of problems. Maybe they're because you're both only in high school, but my point stands.
-But don't ever stop talking to her. She is always cool as shit.
-Pay more attention to other cars on the road.
-Choose someone else for a roommate.

Captcha: know your rights

That, too, past me.

It's a porn video of two lesbians making out, touching eachother, eating eachothers shit and vomiting into eachothers mouths.
OT: She liked you and you should have made a move, you damn coward!

If you sit there and wait for people to talk to you, they will not talk to you 99 times out of 100. Take initiative.

On a related note, networking is the worst but also important, so try to be cordial with people if you can maybe use them for something later.

On a second related note, don't start looking for a job a month before graduation and expect to have a job by the time summer rolls around.

All in all, stop overthinking and do stuff

"Everyone is good at something" is rubbish, we're all pretty good at MANY things and you probably won't work out what most of them are until you are somewhere around 30-40 years old, or older frankly.

If plan A fails go to plan B, if plan B fails go to plan C, if plan C fails go to plan D, if plan.... you get the idea. Most people don't get things (career, love, writing a satisfactory ending to a major space-opera gaming trilogy etc.) right first time, this is normal, the people who do get things right are the people who keep trying until they find something that works.
