My motto is something like:
No matter how good you are there's always someone better

It might sound a bit negative but this also keeps me pushing and getting better no matter how good I might get at something.

Lenin said it best.
"Trust is good. Control is better." Except he said it in Russian so I'm sure it was way more terrifying.

"Always Expect Failure"
and a sort of family one is:
"There's no use in worrying about what you can't control."

To explain the former, I always thought of it as that when you expect to succeed and don't, you generally lose your drive to keep working on it. Whereas if you expect to fail, you probably won't lose much if you do and when you succeed, you may enjoy the success even more.
I don't know, it's kinda odd, but it's something.

I guess it counts, I say it to myself when ever I'm unsure of something. It's not quoted from anything I know.
"You know where this ends"
It's just a reminder to myself that whatever the problem there will be an end to it. The only choice is good or bad, which is the one I make.

For laughs: "If at first you don't succeed, you didn't use enough explosives that time."

For real: "Always keep an open mind and a compassionate heart." -Phil Jackson
I would at to it: "Even when life becomes unfair."

Lying to someone or being optimistic about a doomed scenario are essentially the same deal.

OR

"I Need Scissors, 61!"

"I call that bold talk for a squeaky-voiced fat-boy!"

The actual motto can be changed to suit the occasion but in general that's what it is...

Scoop, roll, throw, hit, duck.

I'd be surprised if anyone gets the reference.
Would it happen to be from Dexter Laboratory? I think I remember something like that in one of the earlier episodes.
Bingo! XD

Snowball fighting episode.

My motto is in my profile and it states "Violence is never the answer, it's the question, the answer is yes."

along with my other motto of "life is war." which is a much simpler one, and I use it more often.

I came up with this one while playing COD with some friends

"It is better to suck a dick on your knees than it is to take it up the ass an all fours"

think about it.

I have had the same motto on this website for many months now-

"Not my chair, not my problem."

10 points to the person who knows where it's from.
