With Sonic Generations, Sega actually managed to win back a bit of trust from the fans who have been punished with horrible Sonic games for years. And now that they've got that trust, they use him to sell car insurance. It's just...a bit insulting. I mean really, if Sega is hurting for money they should make another good Sonic game. Not use him as a cheap ploy to get people to buy insurance.7thHanyou said:A little silly, but what's wrong with it?
Also, Sonic was always a marketing ploy. There's nothing wrong with "selling him out."
Sonic insurance? Dr. Robotnik would be all over that.Solaire of Astora said:So...does Progressive provide Sonic insurance now? I could definitely use some of that.

Eh, it's not so much a blemish on Sonic as it is a sad, sad look at what our Videogame heroes are forced to do in their downtime, become corporate whores.
You know the economy's in bad states when even a blue hedgehog needs to pimp his image just to get by.
My heart goes out to Sonic, and all those affected by these tough economic circumstances.
