Big surprise; it's kinda hard to mess up the GoW formula, isn't it?

Kratos kills stuff and is awesome while doing so.

But it's being able to add to this mechanic that risks messing it up. God (no pun intended) I wish I had a PS3

Well, although I fully expected it to be pure, unmitigated fucking AWESOME I will still wait until a reviewer I trust gives their 2c on it. Most stupid magazines or websites just give shit a high score because of the hype which is why any place that gives Heavy Rain over a 8 instantly becomes worthless in my eyes.

No real surprise here; water is wet, sky is blue, God of War game rates its arse off.

There are too many games getting the 9+/10, 90+/100 ratings these days, I guess it's only personal taste that defines the awesome from the truely awesome.

The graphics are not better than Uncharted 2's, but I guess at that level of looking awesome, it's just a matter of opinion.

Yeah, but the visual design and those f-ing Titans blow Uncharted 2 out of the water.

I gotta wait until I hear more reviews through. Remember, Resident Evil 5 also had a lot of near perfect reviews when it first came out, then after I bought it, I felt like I had been robbed because it wasn't good like they said. At least God of War 3 isn't forcing online Co-op down our throats, but still, I gotta wait and learn from the past.

I've been pretty disappointed with the other hack & slash games that came out this year, and this should be the mother load..=)

Although I hope Castlevania/Splatterhouse manage also not to suck when they come out later this year....doubting Splatterhouse won't though...=/

It might seem repetitive.But somehow it never gets old.

It got old for me after the 2nd game.... they're just re-using the same animations at this point.

Gameinformer is usually a good source but I dont' think tehy should have given a 10, makes me rethink my opinion of them when even Gamespot finds fault in the game. Damn, I wish I was still subscribed to them so I could read their review of it and keep it around.
