lame to the power of 10 much?

a 'remake' made by some 3rd party nobodies with such gaming credentials as "the world is not enough" and "some duke nukem game" [read the ones which were so bad they dont want to mention the names] and unless nintendo and activision want a huge lawsuit on their laps, will have nothing to do with the original apart from a bit of the name...wow awesome!

so a cross between the world is not enough and duke nukem forever, with wii graphics, compeltely new maps, engine, gameplay..and anything the original had which made it stand out

I cant wait, clunking around badly made maps that have no resemblance to the original with the wii-mote, generic gameplay that will have nothing in common with the original..brilliant!

I couldnt be less excited, at least the perfect dark remake on XBLA was just a pure port with new graphics, this one will be a brand new, badly made game purely being released to make quick cash of nostalgia...then again it is a wii game so Im not completely suprised

the only way a fan of the original will be happy (and rightly so) is if the original is given a buff up ala perfect dark XBLA and released on wii and 360 but that wont happen as the wii hardware couldnt cope with a HD remake

struggling to put into words how lame this is and an insult to a fan of the original

I have to imagine they will add online multiplayer. It would only make sense in this day and age.

[HEADING=3]Then you all will feel the wrath of my deviously placed proximity mines! Muahaha!![/HEADING]

Oh yes, I am looking forward to this. *wrings hands*

As many people have said already, if it is anywhere nearly as good as the original, I'm buying it. Hoping desperately for good multiplayer...

Sweet, I want it. The original was, sadly, my friends. I didn't own an N64 and he moved away. I want to relieve those days.

The 007 series has always been fun for me. Agent Under Fire was my first 007 game.

Also, watch this for a giggle or two.

For many, GoldenEye was the turning point for first-person shooters on consoles, and in many ways defined the Nintendo 64-era of gaming. Since then, publishers and developers haven't been able to capture the same magic of Rare's original. So what do you do? You remake it, apparently.
