Today I was playing though The Warriors on Xbox, and whilst the game is fairly good, the one thing I felt that would have made it great would have been the soundtrack. The film was full of typically 80's synth and theremin music, and was what gave the film its rustic "so-bad-it's-good" feel. The game was lacking this, and music took a back seat. Even fiddling with options to make it louder didn't really work.
I guess this would be my clear example of a game which was let down by its background music. My favourite examples of good soundtracks would probably be Halo and Wipeout (in their time). How about you slags?
