Still, they CAN be easy...IF you know what you're doing. 1st time I started playing it I nearly hurled the controller to oblivion...all because if that pink...girl...boss...thing... *shudders*

Legend of Dragoon had some epic boss battles, if you can remember that game from PS1. The supervillian Lloyd was quite the character.
Hell yeah! I forgot about that game. Great bosses. The Divine Dragon was huge.

Edit: Thought of another one. The Ruby and Emerald Weapons from FFVII.

Yup, it was full of them... my favorite was fighting the two winglies at the end of disc 1 (or was it 2?).

for me i have to go retro......
except Twilight Princess.....too easy no matter what anyone says.
thank you for this.

its nice to see someone aggreeing with me on this subject.

as for boss fights, i would have to say the bird king on LoZ: wind waker.

I just loved it. Best villain is ganon: he behind every wrongdoing in every game, be it through his influence over others or directly.

any of u tried to play titan quest? if u dont know what to do exactly, ur going to get hailed on with meteors or blasted with a fireball, maybe even crushed under a rock. also, the bosses looks amazing and badass. the act bosses is so awesome. the gameplay is very much like diablo.

think the final boss on act 3 and the 1 following is the hardest. the 1 following has these moves, each of them damages from 2-3 out of 4 parts of ur hp.

poison bolt, slows, avoid because it slows u, making u vunerable.
fire breath, kills u if u are caster specced.
thunder throw, deals about half ur hp.
meteors, certain doom, he channels them, so strike him while he does it.
drain mana, takes alot of ur mana. ur only hit if ur lose to him, tho it has a long range.
drain hp, takes 3/4 of ur hp and give it to himself.
thorny skin, damages u some if u strike him, its not much.

only way u can avoid this is to run around, mostly in circles, waiting for him to shoot the other way and then blasting his ass off.

Liquid Ocelot at the end of MGS4. It was not a particularly difficult battle, but it was oh, so satisfying. Even though the PS3 controller doesn't vibrate, I could almost feel the impact from those punches.
Krauser from RE4. That's on my top five bosses of all time. He would hide behind doors and use bombs and shoot arrows at you. It starts off like an old west shootout and evolves into a "hunt the hunter" kind of battle.

Any Metal Gear Solid, but 4's were weaker than the previous installments and God of War 1 & 2.
Hell no. 4's actively had some style, some freaky and grand moments. 2 was the weak one.
Especially Rey was weak. Too weak actually. Fatman was kinda cool.
