Fallout 3 and New Vegas had pretty good endings. Wraps up alot of things and gives you some insight into how things arent all cuddles and happiness regardless of what you do.

Xenosaga III's ending was great. I thought it wrapped up the series nicely and they didn't cut it short (despite what people say, Episode III was going to be end of the current cast of characters stories).
And Jin's/KOSMOS's death was so poignant and beautifully done.

I've always liked the end of Planescape: Torment, and System Shock 2 of course, that little coda is pretty creepy and awesome. "Tommy... what's the matter, lover? Don't you like my new look?".

Quite. I prefer to think of Price dying and Soap being crippled for life. Seems a just ending for the barbarism everyone indulges in.
I agree with you there, otherwise the impact is just totally lost. It just seems as though all the main characters are immortal, and nothing has any risk for them.

Totally on board regarding the ending to PoP: Sands of Time, it was wonderfully bittersweet. Too bad they had to make those fucking sequels. Especially The Two Thrones which brought back Farah as some stupid action chick.

The ending to Journey was one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced. Truly breathtaking.

Planescape Torment, Baldur's Gate 2, the original Fallout, To the Moon and Bastion all leap to mind as having extremely satisfying endings, for various reasons. Planescape's was the most philosophical, Baldur's Gate 2 offered the most closure, Fallout's was the most bleak, To the Moon was the most bittersweet and satisfying, and Bastion's was the most hopeful.

I loved the ending to MW3. It somehow felt adequate, proper, after three games spent running after the Big Bad, that it would end so up close and personal. Very satisfying.

Also, Fallout New Vegas. I welcomed the detailed "Here's what happened to everyone and their dog" exposition that the series was well known for.

Human Revolution's, The Sands of Time's, Mafia's, The Witcher 2's, Portal 2's, Uncharted 2's, others that I'm blanking on.

Dey al dun guds.

The evil ending to Demon's Souls is super badass. Nothing flashy, but stomping on the Maiden in Black's corpse was fantastic.

Yeah, I loved the HL2:E2 final scene; but I'd have to contend the game didn't end- which ticks me off to this day.

I always liked the ending of the original Fallout, I think it is the best example of an ending that fits the story perfectly and brings with it a ton of emotion.

Games with good endings... it's nice to see a change of pace from all the hatred for once haha.

I really enjoyed Persona 4's ending, the game was no Juggernaut in the story and pacing department, but the ending was great, although the final boss was nothing compared to the that of its predecessor, I did feel the way the story wrapped up was more satisfying.

Metal Gear Solid 4... say what you will about the lengthy cutscenes, you gotta admire them for attempting to wrap up the series nicely, and tie up as many loose ends as possible for fans who had been with the series since the beginning (of at least the MGS series), and the final boss fight was awesome.

Shadow of The Colossus. Dat gameplay, dat music, dat everything.

the colossi are fragments of the god who told you to kill them. He brings Mono back to life as promised but not before possessing your body and being killed. You are reincarnated as a baby wih horns. Just like Ico.

Well I really like the endings for the Dead Rising games, Also the fact that depending on your actions have different endings.
Oh for controversy, the original end to Fallout 3. I enjoyed that a lot more than Broken Steel, though the fact that if you have someone that could just walk in and do what you had to do without being harmed they will refuse is retarded.

Yeah, that was my main problem with it.

Me: So, Fawkes, time to shine and save the world and us from this sticky situation!
Fawkes: No, it has to be you, I wouldn't dream of robbing you from this moment.
Me: No, I'll die if I go in there, but you can just go ahead and do it without a problem. Takes all of five seconds.
Fawkes: No, this is your destiny, meant for you alone.
Me: ... Dude... I'll DIE if I go in there. I'm asking you to do this, which is as easy as walking through a damn door!
Fawkes: Nope. Destiny.
Me: You're a dick, Fawkes, you know that?

Batman Arkham City. There are just not words proper for the incredible ending. It's better than anything other Batman, be it comics, movies or cartoons.

Persona 3, Bastion(the whole last level is amazingly well done), and Sly 3(except for that weird attempt at a loose end)
