When "Firefly" got canceled I seriously thought about just tossing my television out the window. All anybody watched that year was "Joe Millionaire" and "American Idol" so they completely missed out on the shows that had substance. God, and the last episode they showed was the previously un-aired pilot. Irony, pure irony.Barciad post=18.69868.676180 said:What Joss Weadon did to deserve getting treated like that. I mean, it wasn't like no-one had heard of him. He'd only just made the greatest single teen-drama of all time. I defy anyone to say otherwise.rottenbutter post=18.69868.675320 said:The ending to Firefly. Why you ask? Because it never should have ended!
Fox is in the business of canceling shows that do better than "The Simpsons" or they think may do better. They don't like other shows competing with it. So, really, they sank "Firefly" purposely. Joss just happened to make a show that was getting more consistent ratings (sometimes better) than "The Simpsons" and Fox panicked. But hey, at least we got an awesome movie out of it.
Also, I was disappointed with the series finale of "Buffy" just because my favorite character got killed off.
Oh, wow. "Angel" had a not so awesome finale. It got canceled, too, because of the UPN and WB merging.
