A badass alien on a determined quest to destroy humanity.

Alternatively, it should still feautre either aliens or monsters, I don't really get into real world games.
Possibly have a 'survival' mechanic wherein the player needs to regularly have food and water and construct shelters. So basically this would apply if it were an open world game.

A mans journey in purgatory to redeem his soul and stop Satan!

Wait, that's been done.

Ive yet not seen a good modern tactical sniper game, as in, sneak in, shoot the guy in the face, and escape. Kinda like Modern Warfare, only the main focus is sniping

Deconstructive twists. Bioshock did it, and was praised as a result. For example:

Twist #1: the game is set up like a "contemporary" FPS, but the main character turns out to be an alien in sci-fi setting five minutes in.

Twist #2: by the middle of a game, the main character is not quite mentally stable because of all the killing he comitted.

Twist #3: the faction you're fighting for are, in fact, the evil one - hence the mass-murder of enemies by player (bordering on genocide).

And so on... pick whichever you want.

Good idea, but it would seem too Ghillie in the mist/ One Shot, One Kill rip-off material.

I got the idea watching an SAS TV show. Also add snake-eater to the rip-off list.

A villian who, while clearly evil, has some human emotions.

An EXTREME stealth game, in which you have to quickly and quitely get rid of patrolling guards in order to remain undetected.

Trouble is, there are tens of guards on the screen at a time, and an alarm means instant mission failure.

I think if done correctly, it could have the potential to be fast-paced, suspenseful, irritating and hilarious at the same time.

A Pokemon Snap like game, except you can free-roam the environments, and where the Pokemon will run away if you get too close without first distracting them or being completely stealthy.

Playing as a civilian in a hostile situation and trying to get out alive. Just imagine being in an urban environment, military against terrorists, with you stuck in the middle amidst a swath of other civilians, trying to get to somewhere safe. It'd be intense.

A gun that shoots a large red cape that drapes over a group of enemies, who are then gored and trampled by rampaging bulls.

As Counterwise said, I would love to see a game that focuses on stealth and sniping. I remember a Game that did something like this (I think it was actually called Sniper), where you had to sneak trough bombed citys in WW2, taking out patrol after patrol. And it had this very cool feature, where the camera followed the bullet if you did a good shot. Would love to see that again.
