Half Life
Mass Effect
Batman Arkham games
Final Fantasy
The disney Final Fantasy thing: Kingdom hearts?

and many many more, these are the ones I've heard are good by some people. But I don't game enough to sit down and play every game that exists, and I come from a Nintendo Family so I don't have a Xbox360 os PS3 which also explains a lot.

World of Warcraft
It's absurdly popular, so it has to be doing something right. That isn't reason enough alone to call it 'good', but it's certainly not 'bad'. However, I hate the aesthetic and hate that I lost some friends in college from them playing that game and dropping out.

Disgaea. Sounds pretty damn sweet. Humorous, good story, all that jazz. However, I haven't touched the turn-based RPG genre in ages and I don't plan to do so now. That said, I've been thinking about picking up Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero? for a long time now. Like, a REALLY long time.

Mass Effect. Bioware lost me after dragon age: origins. hated the game, had no desire gamble more money on them. Did like KOTOR though.

Other than that... not much really. I'll admit this if the first time I've seen a thread where people recognize a quality game, then refuse to play it for any number of reasons. I know I know, personal taste and all that. But with the lackluster release schedule for the time being, never too late to get around to catching up on your backlog of games.

Any Call of Duty game. Although, in truth, the only ones I want to play are MW1, MW2, WaW, and maybe some of the older ones.
The Prototype games.
The Amazing Spider-man.
Spiderman 2.
That new Deadpool game that looks pretty fun.

Anyone noticing a pattern?

Well, I don't have anything against the aforementioned games, but I have a huge problem with Activision, so I boycott them. I may be missing out on some good games, but oh well.

Among others...The Assassin Creed games. I used to really want to play those games...But then Ubisoft did two things I don't like: 1, they said they never plan on fully wrapping up the overarching plot, and they just plan on keep making them until they stop making money. I HATE that. That's why I don't watch TV shows, or read comic books, everything interesting is always just hinted at, and nothing ever happens...The second reason is the yearly release schedule...Dislike that as well. And the Ubisoft DRM is just icing on the cake.

The Fallout games. Only played the first one, probably won't play the others...

Knights of the Old Republic 3 - Because it will never get made. (Yes, I'm still annoyed with that)

The Half Life series. I don't really dig shooters that much and I really don't dig shooters on PC and I think the source engine is ugly as sin. I find Portal ugly and unweildly, even though I like it.

There's no way I'm playing a game which is longer, has difficulty outside of puzzles, and isn't funny in that engine.

I think I answered a thread like this awhile ago...but it'll have to be Dark Souls. Which sucks, because I actually like it, the graphics, the atmosphere, levelling up, exploring, controls and fighting, is all done so well.

But I just don't have the time to keep trying things over and over again, getting killed at any corner by random encounter, grinding for points after getting killed at said random encounter...it's just too depressing a punishment for death (i.e: losing all your souls, and having to run all the way back to where you died, to try again let alone getting those stupid souls back).

I've tried to get into three different Halo games on four separate occasions and I've never got farther than the first three or four missions. Nothing about it clicks for me and the vehicle sections are a disgrace.

I've had Valkyria Chronicles since it came out, and despite everyone waxing lyrical about it and actually loving the demo, myself, I find the full game too mentally exhausting to really get immersed in.

I'm actually playing Arkham City now! Finally! And it's really good!

That said, if I ever see another game come out with that fucking abortion Games For Windows Live attached to it, that game is dead to me. I don't care if the game is the cure for all man's ills. Dead.

Batman
Fallout New Vegas
Skyrim
All of the Modern Warfare games
All the Battlefield games
The Dead Space series
and many more...

I'd probably play some of these games if I could still rent games from Blockbuster or Rogers :(

Pretty much anything by rockstar I usually end up trying it as some friends buy the games but from GTA3 onwards their games have done nothing for me (table tennis was fun actually but not enough for me to want to buy it) and although I did play some of their games before that they were never amazing just fun to mess around with then shelve it and never touch again.

Any racing game pretty much I am just not really interested in the genre same with sports games I dont like sport so unless its got something else fun going for it like Tiny Toons Wacky Sports on the SNES sports titles are out.

Most FPS are also out for me now as I just got burned out years ago and again I still try them occasionally but they all still feel the same from my time with them, there are small differences but it dosent freshen them up.

Minecraft tried it didnt like it but then again I never liked lego much anyway, Mario 64 tried it several times and thought it was rubbish every time.

And many more mainly because I just dont have time now so lots of epic RPGs I want to play are unlikely to be started.

every generic FPS ever. an fps for me needs more than 2 weapons and no regenerating health
or if it has one of those 2 things but with a cool gimmick (for instance darkness 2's... darkness)

Skyrim. I played the first two hours of Fallout: New Vegas but then got bored and never picked it up again. There's just something about that genre that doesn't appeal to me.

Assasins Creed (if this counts) I bought the first 2 for PC in a steam sale last year, played a grand total of 5 minutes before discovering that it was possibly the worst console port I have ever come across, the controls just felt horrific. Add that to the fact that im rubbish at using console controllers I guess im never going to be able to play it and that makes me a little sad.

Let see-
Fallout 3 series. It sound like something I would played but that game only run on vista and not Window 7.
Minecraft. I read that game is only good if you got something to aid for which to me I wouldn't have an set goal in mind.
Team Fortess 2. Not in the mood to be called noob and etc (yes I know I can play in a friendly server).
Left 4 Dead series. I don't have that many friends to play co op with.
Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. While I do got a PC to run it but I don't want to cram in too many games on it and I alread got a few games (and upcoming games) in it already.
Dead Space, Assassin Creed, Portal 1 + 2 and Mirror Edge. Same as above.

Skyrim. Something about it just makes me not want to play it. Which is weird because I love Fantasy RPGs.
I think you've made the mistake of assuming that Skyrim is good. Oblivion was such a massive bucket of shit that I can't trust Bethesda to make a good game no matter how many good reviews they've purchased.
Im just going off what the general opinion of the game is. Alot of people have said that they enjoy it and say that is one of the best games around. I have watched people play it and it looks interesting. It just for some reason I dont want to play.
