I'm pretty much sold on Lupe Fiasco, Hilltop Hoods, and Kyteman! These are some great suggestions, thanks all!

You had me at Styles of Beyond, then lost me at Kanye. Oh well we could have made beautiful babies.

Where is that SOB track from? Its not from Megadef or 2000 Fold.
It's from a Green lantern Mixtape:

Called (wait for it) DJ Green Lantern & Styles Of Beyond in Razor Tag the mix tape.

Shame about our babies, we'll just have to have normal, ugly ones with other people.

ps, it's maker's ego aside, what wrong with The College Dropout?

Thanks for the link.

I just don't like the way he flows, the tone of his voice, or some of his rhymes. I do think he is a good producer, though.

Good Hip-Hop/Rap? Today? Weird Al comes to mind. That's about it. It just seems that today's Rap "artists"/sarcasm are just trying to one up each other in cursing/violence/sex and it's gotten boring.

Good old skool stuff - Nas, Run DMC, Public Enemy, Slick Rick

for anything more recent i suggest Asesop Rock, Atmosphere, Murs, Brother Ali, Del, or MF DOOM their all underground and some of the smartest/tightest rhymes you'll find nowadays

I see what you did OP posting one of those impossible to answer logic questions.

Hehe I jest, while I do not view Rap as actual music, I respect Rappers as artists (just not the musical kind).

Now OP if you're main musical preference is the Rock area of it all then I suggest Rage Against the Machine, unless someone already decided to suggest that and I didn't notice.
Judge for yourself
I'll admit I'm more inclined towards to the rock/metal side of music, which is kinda why I started this thread, I have a tendency to get in fights with people over musical tastes, so this is my first of three attempts to expand my horizons so I stop pissing people off :p
