Hi there. Today I just got a PS3 for my Birthday, and I was wondering.. What game should I get? I currently have Resistance 2, Lair, and Metal Gear Solid 4.

Killzone 2.

It's quite a fun game and it has got good online multiplayer if you are into that sort of thing.

Uncharted is amazing. As is MGS4.

I'm not fancy on the RPGs available, but stay away from Cross Edge. Just plain bad.

Edit: PSN games are great as well.

Heavenly Sword, while short, was a beautiful fun game (just turn off Sixaxis support when it comes to throwing things. By now, the price on a used copy ought to be about right for a game so short should be. The game is great fun, brilliant characters to fall in love with, and I pray for a sequal.

it depends what you're looking for: for shooters, go Killzone + Call of Duty 4 or World at War. For racing, go Motorstorm + Burnout Paradise. For sandbox, go Mercs 2 (though the AI sucks, but its still a fun little romp) + inFamous, and maybe Assassin's Creed. some other cool ones are Ratchet and Clack Future, Uncharted, and LittleBigPlanet

Don't be fooled by Valkyria Chronicles. It isn't good. It's the best SRPG I've seen yet. Of course, I may just be saying this because I'm an otaku, but I don't care.

I also liked Dynasty Warriors 6, Uncharted, inFamous, Battlefield Bad Company (or failing that, Warhawk).
