Ok, how seriously wrong is this? Is this really animal cruelty or over-reaction?

I have never had anything pierced(well for the sake of jewlery that is...) and with good reason: I don't like being stabbed.

I doubt a small semi-harmless kitten does either.

Although who ever called PETA needs to call 911 and report themselves.

Unless the cat expressly requested piercings, it's animal cruelty. And somehow I don't see the cat wanting its ears pierced anymore than it would want its whiskers shaved...

It's a cat, I doubt it wants anything. Food, water, space, and the occasional petting. Cat's are pretty easy to satisfy.

For the record I don't consider it animal cruelty. Spaying and neuturing... now that I would consider cruel.

You guys are overeacting. I doubt a cat wants to be spayed or neutered either but we do that. I'd say getting your balls chopped off is much worse than a simple piercing.
