Graphics - Realistic or Stylistic?

I think it depends on the theme, if a game is trying to betaken seriously then realistic graphics. If anything else, cel-shaded.

I like realistic more, while I like stylized games for longer.

A good example is that I'm in love with the F.E.A.R. series which not the best graphics, they still went for realism. I can't stand playing F.E.A.R. one because even if the gameplay is much better, the graphics make me puke.

While on the stylized side, JSRF has been a favorite of mine and I would sell up any game from today's standards to play it.

It really depends. Stylistic games have a more timeless quality to them, however - Wind Waker still looks astonishing today, long after its release, but such a style wouldn't suit, say, Gears of War.
