It was a nice controller, but you have to admit, it was pretty tacky. Just the plastic/way it was made wasn't really that great. Apart from that, I agree, damn good controller. My favourite is probably the PS2 though. It's just what I used first and grew most used to.Hazy992 said:I wonder how many people I'm gonna ninja with this one:

Goddamn, was that a good controller. The layout of the buttons, the way it fit in your hands, the analog stick, all brilliant.
Hey Nintendo, here's an idea: Release a Gamecube style Pro Controller when Smash Bros. Wii U comes out. I guarantee a lot of hardcore fans would buy one in a heartbeat.
Agreed! Greatest controller ever made, IMO.Hazy992 said:I wonder how many people I'm gonna ninja with this one:

Right console, wrong controller (kind of). Best way to play was clearly with the Wavebird.Hazy992 said:I wonder how many people I'm gonna ninja with this one:

That dpad is the pinnacle of design imo as you can just sit your thump in the middle and quite easily pull off precise moves. It's what made Street Fighter 2 hands down the best to play on the Megadrive.chimpzy said:The Saturn Controller

Have to agree. In fact, I like the Dual Shock 3 the most of all of it's iterations because it's just the tiniest bit bigger, but it fits my hand better as a result.shootthebandit said:The dual shock. It wouldnt have stood the test of time for about 15 years if it wasnt so good
Yup, that is my favorite controller right there.Andy Shandy said:Right console, wrong controller (kind of). Best way to play was clearly with the Wavebird.
The purple one looked silly. The silver Wavebird was just beautiful =P

Luckily there are unofficial solutions such as this one http://raphnet-tech.com/products/gc_to_wiimote/index.php?category=AC10 said:Agreed! Greatest controller ever made, IMO.
Nintendo not letting us plug those into the WiiU is a real shame.
I disagree completely. Not a bad controller by any means, but... great? The D-pad is way too small, the Start/Pause button is too far away from everything else, and those shoulder buttons are basically the worst thing ever.Hazy992 said:I wonder how many people I'm gonna ninja with this one: controller.jpg
I'd third this as well.Shocksplicer said:Gotta love the 360 controller, just a fantastically well designed piece of gear.
