My warcraft 3 original discs were worn/scratched beyond playable recognition. The battle chest is still a stupid amount of money in stores -_-
If you register your Warcraft III games on the new Battle.net you can download the games from the site.

You'll need your Warcraft III CD keys to register them.

You can register other Blizzard games with them for the same deal (Starcraft, Diablo, World of Warcraft etc).

I Love playing City of Heroes. Its my first MMORPG ever played, but the only way it runs smoothy enough to not fall asleep during load screens is to play it right after you turn the comp on.

If i even check my Facebook, or E-Mail, before i jump on it wont play properly. It kills me as its such a nuisance to turn it off then turn it back on. Its not unplayable just undesirable.

Sorry for the double post. just saw a fellow city player on here. Now is this still happening to you recently? Cause for the most part i believe they fixed this problem ages ago. It's a def. RAM leak. I used to get it all the itme as well. Play play play then you'd have to reboot cause things just got UGLY. I know xactly what you mean. Just out of curiostiy how much ram is in your PC. After i upgraded mine that game runs like a gem. I'm currently at 4 gigs though. CoV is notorious for this, even more so then city. Anyway what server :)

Team Fortress 2 because the people who built my computer glitched up the RAM nice and good. As soon as I get on a server it BSODs me.

Also Timesplitters: Future Perfect. Trying to play the awesomeness of Rise Against caused smoke to billow out of my Xbox and I have no idea how much it would cost to repair.

The original KOTOR has a really weird problem on my PC. It plays perfectly fine up to a certain point in the spaceship where you start, where the character just can't move anymore. Everything else works perfectly, but he just stops moving and you can't do anything about it.
I get the same problem, and even though i have played through the game about 10 times, i never got round to looking for a fix for it! i always just save at the point it happens and reload, always sorts it out.

Kotor 2 is notoriously buggy on the PC. Hell just to install it I had to jump through hoops. I have it running now but all the work I had to put into it to get it running would most likely put off any normal person.
Just incase you havent played through it before/havent heard about it, watch out for the nar shadaar bug, VERY annoying.

And mine would be a few weeks ago when i decided to play though Heavy Metal: FAKK 2 for the first time in years, installed it and found it wouldnt work, tried installing it again a few times, no joy. A bit of googling led me to learn that for some reason the game disc doesnt like being used in dvd burning drives, which is fantastic, as thats all i have in my machine. ugh. So i try and rip the disc and mount the image with daemon tools, still the same problem.
Eventually i had to torrent a copy to be able to play it. FAIL.
It was worth it though, i love that game!

Yea 1.5 gigs is about the bare minimum for coh these days. A ram upgrade to about 3 gig you should have zero porblems. @ 4 your laughing. Bummer I'm liberty server through and through. Been playing for all 5 years.

I've had some problems with ancient disc-based DRM with Windows 7, but thanks to Steam, the game that was bugging me most (Port Royale 2) I need only pay five bucks for and it'll run just fine. Sucks, but I can live with a five-dollar hit for a five-year-old game.

Oblivion: works on Windows Vista. Doesn't work on Windows Vista 64-bit. Guess which one I have?
Final Fantasy 7: I just can't tolerate looking at it any more. I can swallow Phantasy Star III, the worst-looking game ever made (well, except for Shadow Madness), more easily.

Tenchu 1&2. Going from analog to digital ninja controls with all the crazy double taps and combos to just get your character to hobble along at a walking pace and TURN is unplayable. Annoying as they are some of the best in the series.

I can't get Arcanum to load on either Vista or 7. I'm not sure whether I should be disappointed that I can't play it or relieved that it can no longer get far enough to lock up my computer every ten minutes.

Thief II would always freeze on me during some training bit. Annoying and heartbreaking. I eventually didn't care anymore and I'm yet to attempt to play another Thief game.
