Really? I know it's underappreciated by many, but GS has gathered quite a following these days, hasn't it?

OT: The Witcher. Sure, some people on here have played it, and people are looking forward to the sequel, but among all my RL and virtual friends, I'm the only one who owns a copy.

Alone in the Dark (2008 edition) got mauled by reviewers and sold very poorly, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Can't come up with more, but if I do later on I'll edit them in.

In all my (admittedly limited) time on these forums, I've found about 3 other people who know of Homeworld. So does that count?
Homeworld for the win.

I also played Sid Meier's Pirates (I'm pretty big on pirates, REAL PIRATES, not Jack Sparrow)
and I'm one of those wiedro's who liked Phantasy Star Online 3 C.A.R.D. Revolution.
And Fire Emblem, no one seems to like Fire Emblem

rRootage. A kickass bullet-hell shooter. Ikaruga, Galaga, all wrapped up in one.

Scott Pilgrim VS The World: The Game. So awesome, such an awesome beat em up.

When I was young, I loved the game Total Annihilation: Kingdoms. IMO it is one of the best RTS ever made!

I just got Rhythm Zone yesterday, and I'm having great fun with it. It's kinda like Guitar Hero, but you can import all your own music. It doesn't work off only the guitar track though, obviously.

:D :D This is great! Some people on here not only know of, but like Homeworld! This is a fanboy's dream come true.

Does anyone besides me play the Patrician/Port Royale series? Everyone's talking about Civ5, I'm content with Patrician 4.
Port Royale 1 was pretty good. I didn't care for 2 oddly enough even though they are almost identical. It seems 2 took alot of what I liked in 1 out. I am surprised anyone else mentioned it.

There was a fun little game series called cultures I enjoyed. I have lost my copies a few years ago though. :(

Homeworld is pretty much one of the best RTS games ever made, and certainly one of the most iconic. It's my immediate answer whenever anybody brings up the 'can games be art' query.

Metal Arms Glitch in Time.
Don't you mean "Metal Arms: Glitch in the System"? But yeah that game was great. I never did beat it. I was stuck at the second fight with General Corrisive. And now I lost the disc. :(

The Hobbit wasn't that bad either, if I remember right.

As for games I remember: Battle Tanks (or was it Tankz? Hell it might have been Tanxs or Tanxz): Global Assualt. Wasn't amazing but I had a lot of fun with it. Especially the "special" modes for the secondary weapons. Growing grenades anyone?

dude, fire emblem is one of my favorite game series, though i'm fond of ttbsrpg's in general. i think i even like it better that final fantasy tactics, mostly due to the extra challenge of not letting anyone get killed. that, and when you do something dumb the computer tears you a new asshole. i also really like the front mission series, particularly 4.

I think you might be my secret long-lost twin. That's exactly my reaction to the Art question too (when I can be bothered to answer it).

The operatic and exotic score, the streaming dance of fighter-ships against prismatic nebulae, the tale of a people fighting against insurmountable odds to find a homeworld that may no longer exist...
