Okay, so a rather heavy piece of news is thrown to Doc Brown and his immediate reply is "Great Scott!", because this is his reaction to a sudden situation change or general bad thing. It's the "Holy Shit!"/"Oh Crap!" moment.

Now, mine may vary, so while I attempt to staple a few down, why don't you tell me the words you use to react to a situation like this?

Well....that could be a bit of a problem (before beginning to shout as many profanities as humnanly possible)

I often say "Yeah... Well... You Know...". I mean, crazy shit just happens sometimes, you know?

"Holy Monkey Balls!"

I'm not quite sure how I started using it, but, well, it's there.

Either that or something figurative (ex: Great Flailing Octopi, what is that???)

'Shit on a biscuit!', which is of course a derivative of 'Crap on a cracker!'

'Smeg' is of course useful as a cover-all term.

"Y'elcome." - extremely lazy abbreviation of "you're welcome"

"Aw, crudbubbles..." - mild/medium irritation

"Fudgemonkeys!" - medium/high irritation

"OH COME ON!" - extremely high irritation

"A-what-a-what now?" - confusion; alternatively "Say what now?"

I don't really have a single phrase.
For the most part, when I'm surprised and something slips out, it's a combination of vulgarity and whatever else my brain spits out.
I think the latest was "sweet shitting dicknipples!"

"Son of a flippin' motherfuck."

I'm dead serious. I don't know how I came about the phrase, but it's surprisingly instinctual by now.

Alternately, "shitbiscuits" or "fuckbunnies."

"Son of a whore!" - Adopted from Frisky Dingo (same with Boosh and/or Kakow). I found that I used this phrase the most during the end of Dragon Age II ._.

I have a few phrase I like to use:
Phrase = Translation

1: "What fresh sorcery is this?!" = "What just happened?"
2: "What is this? I don't even!" = See above
3: "MOTHERSUCKING COCKFUCKER!" = "Screw your Danger Close and n00b tube!"
4: "Success!" = Self-explanatory
5: "Whaaaaaaaat? REALLY?!" = See first translation

I say "Buenísima" when someone fucks up. That is something around "Greatest" or "Greatness" in Spanish. It is like saying "Nice going, idiot"

Or just "Ten Fé" when someones asks me for something I really don't want to do. It means "Have Faith" in Spanish.

If not, just "Yeah, ok". Multipurpose.

Some of my applicable response pool:

"I, uh, I don, I-I-I don't even..."
"Ho Shi-" (T excluded as if being cut off by whatever occurred, perhaps eaten)
"God fuck!" (It's only harsh language in context, here it's just a fact)
"lkjhzp;pifcuhgv;bsaoufhg;bjkntf" (Or variations there of, including the verbal equivalent)
"Are you a Wizard?"
*Mime pulling out a lighter or other incendiary appliance to ignite that which has occurred*
*Mime punching in the general direction of applicable persons*
