Great WTF moments in Skyrim

Well, there's the normal stuff like randomly disappearing walls and the occasional animal that's stuck in the terrain.

Then there's slightly stranger things, like the time I found a bandit sleeping on top of a tree that had fallen across a giant gorge. Or the time I saw an entire village all unite to kill a troll in under 10 seconds using only farming tools. Or the time a giant and a mammoth teamed up to kill a dragon, and the dragon just kinda took it.

Spoiler: Or the time...(slight spoilers for the College of Winterhold questline)

When that guy from the Phyjic Order showed up. I'm assuming that after you're done talking with him, he's supposed to teleport or go invisible or something, because when I talked the Archmage (who was nearby) he said something like "What? Where did he go?!" acting as if the guy from the Order had vanished before our eyes. As he said this, the guy from the Phyjic Order calmly and slowly walked right across the room, just a few feet behind the Archmage and totally visible.

Then there's stuff like the Headless Horsemen. I believe there is already a video posted above.

Well, I don't seem to get funny glitches much (only the ones that crash me to desktop and make me cry like a little girl), but I once walked out of the house where you meet Molag Bal and a child popped out of a rock-face. It was very, very strange.

The first dragon you kill in the tundra? Well, eventually I walked back to Whiterun after doing quests in Solitude and I saw him waving about in the tundra, a few hundred metres closer to Whiterun. The next time I was back in Whiterun, he was shaking about right at the gates, like he was trying to bash his way through - he had travelled about half a mile entirely by shaking about.

This happened to me too. Was really funny tought.

For me, it was when I captured Ovahviig (Alduin's right hand man, I can't spell it) and when I released him, this stupid STUPID FUCKING **** attacked him with a knife and he slaughtered everyone ... dumb *****.

Companions, monsters & hostiles were still fine, it was just guards and townspeoples, they just stood still, looking at me. If I waited, slept or fast traveled they would move, so basically they would only move when i wasn't looking. VERY creepy.

OT: other than lakes disappearing, the only real WTF moment i've had was Maurice the Horse charging at a tower then rising up in the air.
plus Delphine and Esbern losing the ability to walk more than four feet at a time.

So far the weirdest I have seen was a woman laying in bed asleep and spinning like a hand on a clock. That and mammoths climbing up and down trees.

Not exactly a glitch but a funny thing that happened... I was in Winterhold and a dragon decided to attack the city. As I was readying my bow I suddenly had a guy run up to me and get me stuck in a conversation asking me to hold onto some stuff for him and not tell anyone that I saw him ect. And I'm thinking "There's a damn dragon attacking the city and you're worrying me about this right now? Go away!" So I get out of that conversation and go back to trying to kill the dragon when suddenly I am sucked into a conversation again by another guy asking me if I saw anyone run through just a moment before. I guess dragon attacks just aren't that big a deal up there.

I saw a dragon coated with that weird shit once. Nothing else, just the dragon. Then it melted off to reveal bones.

At one point I was walking down the road to no point in particular. All of a sudden with absolutely no warning whatsoever a Blood Dragon lands directly on top me.

I then proceeded to kick its ass with Storm Call while dual-wielding a sword and axe.

I assassinated Nadja in Jorvasskr because she dissed me. Then she stood up again. Then I cut her throat again and she stayed down.

She didn't even go hostile, she just didn't care at all.

Also killing Roggvir when I first walked into Solitude before they took his head off resulted in all the guards going hostile, then just standing in front of my not attacking while Lydia diced them up. No bounty or anything.

Once I was working on assassinating someone for the dark brotherhood. Was sneaking towards him, dagger ready when a dragon swoops down, picks up the guy I was meant to kill and insta kills him. I was like well okay then thanks...

Ok, I had something very strange happen to me, but taking a screeny couldn't really convey the weirdness. So I just finished the Dark Brotherhood quest chain by killing some important dude and the world came to standstill, well the people did, npcs just started standing around.

I was once running along with Delphine when we were attacked by a sabre cat. She got fubar'd but because she's essential she didn't die, just dropped to the floor. So I dispatched the sabre cat and waited expectantly for her to get up and start running again (a la Lydia after battle is over) but instead she just started crawling along the ground painfully slowly whilst commenting on how we shouldn't waste any time.

A few times now I have been riding my horse through the wilds. When I jump it over a log it seems to get stuck mid jump and will I can use it to quickly fly around untill I run into something since it only goes straight ahead.
I was once able to use this to outrun a wolf pack that was chasing me.



Also even stranger. I was playing skyrim when I decided to bring my friends list up and saw some people playing something kind of weird Not-Skyrim. It confused me greatly.

Finished killing a dragon that took forever to kill as it just keep hovering over me and trying to burn me. While standing there, absorbing the dragon soul, I got smashed across the dam world by a freaking Giant that came out of no where. Was very ticked off.

In a mining town I encountered a man on a porch talking to a chicken, which was staring at him and talking back.
After further investigation it turns out there was an NPC glitched under the porch and the chicken just happened to be on top of his head...
