I really like the ending to Modern Warfare, and I'm not even a CoD fanboy.

I will agree with you there. That also left quite the impact. I still mention HL2: Ep. 1 over it and maybe Fallout 2's ending, however, just because it has the same exact feeling to me.

I wholeheartedly agree, this is my absolute favorite of all time.

That said, the ending of the Legacy of Kain story arc comes in as a close second.

The end to Dead Space was the best part of the game. It was the only time I really jumped throughout the entire game.

I was just happy they didn't go "And then the price and Farah got married and had children and became the best kind and queen ever and everything was happily ever after" That would have been such a cheesy ending

But I love how they did it! I replay that game from time to time, just to get see that ending again!

i loved the ending of the scotish campaign in Age Of Empires

also, if it counts, the best ending in Mayoras Mask when you dont save the world and just let the time go by (quite unique for a game in its age, supposedly for kids)
