I went with red because that's what Shepard and Anderson were going for from the very beginning.

Sure, EDI and the Geth were sacrificed (apparently they were but I didn't see either of them 'die' or shut down or whatever) but I didn't want to see the Reapers get to just fly away based on the other choices. Plus, I'm a believer of the indoctrination theory so I'm glad I chose red with it supposedly being Shepard successfully fighting off Reaper control.

Stop. With. The. Mass. Effect. Three. Threads. Please.

OT: I picked red, because it's really the best. You survive with enough EMS and all the reapers and geth are destroyed. Perfect ending IMO.

I went with the synthesis ending. At the time I didn't see anything inherently wrong with merging synthetics and organics, after all, Shepherd is already basically a cyborg and it's worked pretty well so far. My only real misgiving was how in the HELL that whole thing is supposed to work "Merge synthetics and organics to create a new DNA?" how exactly does the giant green laser DO that? Also, at that level isn't organic material nearly indistinguishable from inorganic material and AAAAARRRGGGHH!!! In hindsight, a lot of people have pointed out that I'm imposing a radical change on everyone in existence against their will, which is pretty fucked up when you think about it, but honestly the thought never occurred to me, so I guess that makes me a fascist. Great, now all organic life can fuse with their cell phones.

In subsequent playthroughs, I went for red. At first I was afraid to pick that option because the line between what the magic red beam would and wouldn't kill seemed vague, and I was afraid that it might kill all the quarians who had integrated Geth programs into their suits and I didn't want to hurt Tali.

After all of my hard work for my War Assets... O_O

I chose Blue btw.
Welcome to the club mate...
You're probably enraged right now as most people so let me hammer something in your mind to help you swallow it and move on as quickly as possible.
It's just a game.
I know, Right?

It's just.. Those valuable Flight fleets are so valuable to me.. Oh well. Might as well dunk in to Multiplayer.

I thought you were talking about the Pokemon games then, but I wondered, "Why wouldn't they mention Yellow?", since Green wasn't released outside of Japan and I think it was basically Japan's Blue.

But to be fair, I?m really feeling bad for the people who haven?t played the Mass Effect games who must be so tired of these threads with the knowledge that this will continue for a good while yet. Maybe it?s them who should ?hold the line.?
Thank you! I've never played series but these threads are driving me crazy. I'm sorry that the fans got screwed at the finish line but at this point just move on, it's not worth it anymore and this is coming from someone who holds grudges for a very long time. I don't see how sending flipping cupcakes is gonna prove anything to Bioware, they just don't care.

Destruction; its the only way I could be totally sure. The losses were acceptable for total victory.

My canon ending is that Shepard was killed by Marauder Shields, but the combined forces of all of the fleets were enough to defeat the Reapers on their own.

I've returned ME3 since then to prevent myself from being put through the "true" ending DLC.

I chose green(synthesis). Sacrificing ones self to bring peace to the universe made the most sense in my playthrough.
