People who never bother reading a single book in their lives.

I know it's ridiculous to be prejudice against people for that but anybody who says to me "oh my god you read x number of books a year? I don't think I've read a whole book in my life" is instantly somebody I expect not to get along with.

Ass kissers. People who throw out compliments at every opportunity in an (often successful) attempt to be liked and/or cover up their faults. The funny thing is, most of them ARE genuinely good people, albeit a little insecure, and it is very hypocritical for me to judge people for being insecure.

But I can't help it. A few dishonest brown nosers have ruined my outlook on the subject. You know the type. People who spout out undeserved compliments (like asking a fat person if they lost weight for example) to pursue an agenda (like getting promoted). It gets to the point I can't take a compliment from them seriously, even if it's tecnically true. ("Thank you for telling me I'm smart, now would you kindly fuck off?")

Of course it doesn't help that I'm a straight shooter type who will tell you how I feel, good or bad, and I probably don't hand out compliments as often as I should. Probably one of the reasons I'm still single and unpromoted at work.

People who over react to other people for liking or disliking something. I mean does it really affect people that much?

The catholic school board. If they want to preach their religious intolerance then they should only take the taxes of catholic people, leave my money the hell alone if your going to promote children to hate!

Fat people - unjust in some cases yes. When people allow themselves/ choose to be fat/ content with fatness I judge them quite badly. I just can't imagine allowing oneself to get into such a state if they have any self respect.

Bronies - Never watched the show and I don't plan to ever entirely because of hyper fans who mindlessly declare it to be "teh best thing evar" and make it seem as if its a brainwashing tool "welcome to the herd". Oh and "everypony". Judge judge judge. I always see them as 40+ year old fat (I know double judging here) who have no life. Probably not true for the majority of watchers.

Gamers. Yup anyone that plays a game series I don't really like I judge quite badly. Also the ones that play the games I like but not as much.

Lastly anyone who uses memes or the same phrases over and over again (e.g. "***** please...", "Doesn't matter had...", "Your argument is invalid...", "Arrow in the knee" etc.) I picture them as 14 year olds who just recently got their internet working and couldn't string a coherent and unique sentence together to save their life. Probably not true but still not a fan at all.

Transsexuals. I don't like the concept of transsexuals. I mean I suppose if I met one kind and decent enough, we could be friends. I just think the sex-change aspect is messed up, bro.

Yeah, and these guys. I mean I'm willing to accept a lot of things (excepting the above of course). Unless they're unusually well-rooted in convincing facts, who cares about someone's opinion?

DOTA games and the people who play them.

DOTA games have an absurd amount of heroes/champions, sometimes 100+, which aleady sets off alarms in my head. If you were to play each of them for 2 hours, that's 200+ hours of playtime just getting familiar with the basic playstyle and abilities of each. That doesn't even begin to touch on actually becoming comfortable or skilled with any of them.

Imagine if TF2 had 100 classes. How the fuck would you balance a game like that? Not to mention zillions of fundamentally game-changing items.

My limited experience with a dota game was when Heroes of Newerth was in beta. I didn't know much about the genre, but I figured I'd give it a try. Bumbled around a bit not knowing what I was doing, and then got yelled by some kid on my own team who had probably never seen tits before in real life, because apparently I screwed up something I didn't think was very well explained to begin with. Because that's another thing about these games, they're not big on explanations. THIS IS A DOTA GAME, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT TO DO ALREADY, YOU STUPID SCRUB.

I have friends who are really into these games and they keep telling me they're a lot of fun and have great strategic depth, if I would just give them a chance. But I just can't get myself to give a damn. There are so many other games I can play and have fun in without having to "give them a chance", and without having to put up with what is essentially the world's largest collection of immature gamer kid stereotypes.

So yeah, I won't touch these games with a 10 foot pole.
Can't agree more, My friends play Dota and they go ballistic when I do something I thought was right. I got a can of Sprite thrown at me once because I chose the hero my friend wanted.

basically, unless otherwise stated, other people are, to me, part of the faceless masses.

I don't think of people as a group unless they willingly identify themselves as one. Race? don't care. Religious? too many to say its just one group. Political parties? too much internal variation for me to feel comfortable making assumptions.

a group of people insistent on judging others based on unfair standards? don't like em, but once again, its up to the individual.

theres more but i'm too lazy right now.

Oh and the whinier members of the tranny community. Fuckers try to force their delusion on us and expect us to learn a whole new goddamn set of terms to describe all the subtle differences in what they want to be called this week.

Edit: Ohh, I know. The ones I really hate the most are those PC assholes who, for example in a recent thread [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/jump/18.352408.13984025] try to make you out to be a racist/homophobe/bigot etc if you ever dislike A person who happens to be of a minority.
Racist/homophobe/bigots that try to pretend that they aren't.
And the French, they destroyed Interplay and I will never forgive them for it.

Oh man, I judge quite a few groups unfairly and I am not proud of it. Republicans, Vegetarians/Vegans, Christians. I've met a number of nice people in those categories who are incredibly intelligent, nice and not at all extreme. Yet the vast majority of what I've seen/heard has been from people who are the absolute worst examples of what people in these groups are like. Essentially extremists and fundamentalists, so I wrongly have the tendency to hold a negative general opinion of these groups. I try to keep it in mind, but admittedly there are times where I fail horribly. Luckily I manage to keep my mouth shut unless I'm having these particular views shoved down my throat, I still need to work on that.

Frenchmen and Russians.
Too much Warcraft 3 man, every time you saw a Frenchman, you could bet your ass that he couldn't speak english. And much less play the game.
The same goes with DotA 2, every time you end up with a Russian, you can bet your ass you're most likely going to lose. Unless the enemy team's Russian is worse.

How the majority of a countries population can be so bad at games in general is beyond me. I'm not racist, or anything. If I met a frenchman or russian in real life I would treat him or her just as I would any other person.
But once you get into a game with any of them, you kind of lose the will to play because of how bad they are. Of course, this doesn't apply to every frenchman or russian, so I always give them a chance to prove themselves. But let's just say that my boiling point is far lower with them than anyone else.

Every single person that frequents 4chan. I know there's probably 2 people out there that I shouldn't hate. So that's unfair.
Just gonna point out, you probably mean /b/ specifically, not the entirety of 4chan...
Heck /v/ is frequented by a lot of successful indie devs and a lot of them get good ideas/feedback from it.
No. I mean all of 4chan. This is judging unfairly, is it not?

I'd say frat boys, I generally try to stay away form them because I don't like their general attitude or demeanor, maybe some of them aren't super concerned with partying, but I haven't been looking for them.

Real life roleplayers. Guys who like to pretend they're average joes in video games. I try to do the whole agree to disagree thing with them, because I play video games to explore my fantasies, but others can do what they like as well. But then they suggest things like fuel systems and bringing back hunger to the GTA series and I just don't get it. Ok, they want to play as an average joe. Fine, there are games that let them do that just fine. But when people complain about the realism of a game series that has always been about hollywood style heists and insane chases, I just have to face palm because most people aren't after real life role playing opportunities when buying a GTA game.

Art gamers. This really is the same general principal. They HAVE art games with lots of symbolism. While I do think they deserve at least one triple A developer, I don't want every game to become like the path and every day the same dream because those games seem to go out of their way to be boring and tedious. You like art games. Fine. Just don't expect me to side with you when you say that EVERY game should be like that. I like blowing shit up and driving race cars and fighting dragons. The race car thing is why I got into games in the first place. Maybe you are smarter than me. Fine. You should get a developer that caters to your needs. Just don't expect EVERY developer to do so, since the market needs more variety. And no, I don't want every game to be COD either. That should go without saying, but some people love making assumptions.

I guess I judge all religions unfairly.

Admittedly I know a lot about some and others I don't know at all. The problem is I see the few outspoken extremists, and paint all religion with the same brush. It's not fair, and I should try to be more understanding of them.

They make it so difficult though when the outspoken minority preach their rhetoric on birth control, gay marriage, suicide bombing, and all those other things that they claim has been commanded by "god" that go against equality, and acceptance of others.
Kind of in the same boat myself. I think with all the negative media that the majority of religious branches receive, it's tough to wade through the muck and find the good people underneath since those people are usually never in the media.
