I'm a bit surprised that ponies haven't been mentioned yet.

Anyways, I'd have to say that my guilty pleasure is Yahtzee and other foulmouthed Internet content. People typically see me as innocent (lol no idea why), so if someone found me watching something like that, I'd imagine that there'd be quite a scandal.

Recently been watching some JonTron vids on Youtube and he covered Sonic R.

I had that game years ago, it was fucking awful, but there was one thing about the game I loved...

Why should one feel guilt about what pleases one? I like sex, similarily when I've been socially inactive(sometimes I just go into loner mode, and don't wanna go out and meet people) I like porn... I watch MLP on occasion cuz it's light and funny and has a ton of references ot other shit in it which can be fun to point out. But one must never mix the two, danger lies down that road my friends, rule 34 is a cruel bastard, and unfortunately every topic which has any following will eventually get a ton of porn made up for their own enjoyment, whether I find it sick or not however, does not taint my enjoyment of the source material.

I still have a few Backstreet Boys songs in my music library. I also listen to a lot of slower, prettier music. The sort that a lot of my old friends tried to convince me I'm gay for listening to. Although I have a difficult time actually calling them a guilty pleasure because I don't particularly care if anyone knows.(despite the fact that I don't ever share music with anyone, really)

How much I enjoy things, defines their quality. Therefore if I enjoy something, it can't be low quality and I have nothing to feel guilty about.

If I enjoy a girly J-pop song, then that must be a damn catchy song. If I enjoy a cripple porn game made by 4-chan members, that must be a pretty high quality cripple porn game with emotional depth and quality writing. If I enjoy a cartoon about ponies saving the world with the power of friendship, that must be because that cartoon is actually funnier than the rest of the others around it.

The whole "guilty plasure" bs is just an excuse for people to act like they are oh so sophisticated and tasteful that they wouldn't GENUINELY enjoy certain things (even when they evidently do), to circumvent the fact that they don't dare to call out the majority's Sacred Cows, their belief that you are simply NOT SUUPPOSED TO consider certain things good, not even if they are.

You summed up my oppinions on most things very well! If something is very good and well recieved by critics I do not give a shit if I am not the target audience, I give it a shot and most likely will like it.
