Well thats a stupid question, what are you going to use it for? Well if its accuracy. Spend $10,000 on a Cheyarch M200 Intervention.

Maybe you could get a .22lr conversion kit for your Glock.

Or perhaps a "tactical .22" rifle such as a S&W M&P or Sig 522.

Does it have to be a firearm as such? Why not get a crossbow, for variety if nothing else.

Given any thought to a foreign rifle? G3s are really cool. Really pricey, but cool. Well, in the US they're known as G91s (the semi-auto version).

Sig 550 series is always cool too. Again, pricey cuz it's foreign.

An AK-47/74 might not be bad either. Much cheaper too, despite the foreign makers. Plus ammo is cheaper than dirt if your looking to shoot it a lot.

Edit: Might want to disregard that AK suggestion. Good rifles, but not the pinnacle of accuracy. The other two are well made and extremely accurate.

A Walther P22 This gun is designed for target shooting. I admit it's the only gun I've ever owned so I don't much else for comparison, but it's pretty good gun, last time I checked it costs around $400. I'm guessing you already know this, but since it's a .22, the ammo is also cheap.

One of the "various calibers of high powered rifles" I mention is actually an SKS, which is essentially the early version of an AK47. Good rifle indeed.

That being said price is something of an issue so the suggestions for 5k+ weapons doesn't really work for me. (Not directed at Ironman in particular, just in general)

I would prefer a firearm. I am a pretty good archer as well and I never really cared for Crossbows. I've shot several different ones before, just not my cup of tea.

Then I would suggest a Taurus or Smith and Wesson .44 Magnum with a rubber grip and a 4" or 6" inch barrel. Makes for some damn good shooting.

So, I'm thinking about buying another gun. Trouble is I'm not entirely sure what to get. I'm leaning towards a .44 Magnum but I'm open to suggestions. I already have the following : .357 revolver, .22 Automatic, Glock 22, 12 Gauge Shotgun, and various calibers of high powered rifles. The primary purpose of this one will be target shooting so accuracy is key, magazine size not so much.

*Note : Any "GUNSAREBADOMGWTFBBQBANTHEMALL" posts will be reported. If you have a problem with firearms or people who own them, go elsewhere. This is a big site, there is a lot of stuff to do.
Get an imported AK-74 if you can, those things are so fun to shoot. reliability of the AK-47, with a really small recoil due to the smaller round. Can also get the american version but eh.

Go for a Marlin .44 Mag lever-action rifle. Lever-actions are nice rifles, and you can usually pick them up fairly cheap at gun shows. You could do the same for a .357 too, then have less round variety laying around or that you'd have to buy.

Get a 32 snub nose revolver. Big fan of the snub nose. Also the AR 15 I'm pretty sure civilians can get it.
They can, but it needs to be modified to only use sub-automatic fire.
