One of the "various calibers of high powered rifles" I mention is actually an SKS, which is essentially the early version of an AK47. Good rifle indeed.Ironman126 said:Given any thought to a foreign rifle? G3s are really cool. Really pricey, but cool. Well, in the US they're known as G91s (the semi-auto version).
Sig 550 series is always cool too. Again, pricey cuz it's foreign.
An AK-47/74 might not be bad either. Much cheaper too, despite the foreign makers. Plus ammo is cheaper than dirt if your looking to shoot it a lot.
Edit: Might want to disregard that AK suggestion. Good rifles, but not the pinnacle of accuracy. The other two are well made and extremely accurate.
I would prefer a firearm. I am a pretty good archer as well and I never really cared for Crossbows. I've shot several different ones before, just not my cup of tea.thaluikhain said:Does it have to be a firearm as such? Why not get a crossbow, for variety if nothing else.
Get an imported AK-74 if you can, those things are so fun to shoot. reliability of the AK-47, with a really small recoil due to the smaller round. Can also get the american version but eh.Jodah said:So, I'm thinking about buying another gun. Trouble is I'm not entirely sure what to get. I'm leaning towards a .44 Magnum but I'm open to suggestions. I already have the following : .357 revolver, .22 Automatic, Glock 22, 12 Gauge Shotgun, and various calibers of high powered rifles. The primary purpose of this one will be target shooting so accuracy is key, magazine size not so much.

They can, but it needs to be modified to only use sub-automatic fire.aquaman839 said:Get a 32 snub nose revolver. Big fan of the snub nose. Also the AR 15 I'm pretty sure civilians can get it.
