Portal Gun.

Nothing like trapping a robber in a infinite drop then hurling his ass out the door into a tree.

That'll teach 'em.
Seconded.
Plus I can put a portal in my fridge and reach in to grab my snacks.
Thirded. I would always leave one portal open at home in case of emergencies.
Fourthed(?)
Place on above the toilet, don't have to get up.
Fifthed! That's the only gun I'd want. :) Also saves you from those unfortunate accidents: "Oh, honey! I thought you were an intruder! Let me just get you out of that endless free fall... ^^; "

Either the Smith and Wesson model 500. or the Taurus Raging Judge. Or if possible a Minigun, because Miniguns are awesome.

I'd keep this baby under my pillow.
Now that's what I'm talking about.

.357 magnum special.
Mostly it's just for looks, and I dig having a longer barrel than on most pistols for the extra accuracy.
Also if I shoot an intruder with this puppy, it will leave a hole big enough to put my arm through, and if he manages to take my gun and shoot me, unless he is an experienced marksman, he'll break all his fingers, and probably his nose.

I have my Springfield Arms 1911A1 .45 ACP right next to my bed, but I wouldn't want it under the pillow per se.
Yup, that's the way to go :)

I don't like guns... they make me all nervous and jumpy... if it came down to it I would just use one of my guitars as a bludgeon, they're scattered about my room anyway...<.<

Got a Walther P38 next to my bed(don't think I will ever have a gun under my pillow), but I'm going to replace it with a CZ-97B in the coming months.
...that's quite the upsize there. Any reason you're going with the CZ-75's big brother instead of a more traditional .45?
I ask because this [http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n182/loc978/Photos/IMAGE_00236.jpg] is my least favorite of all the guns in my collection. Still, I like it better than the 92Fs that I used on active duty...
As for the size difference I've never had an issue with .45s. Living in CA my options are limited and the features I would like make my options even more so. I like the 97B clip size, ergos, thumb safety, weight, and sights(the one I'll be picking up has night sights). The most common semiautos in the stores I go to are Berettas, Sigs, Glocks, XDs, and 1911s all good guns but either don't have the features I want, don't like the ergos, or simply too expensive.

Edit: If you know any metal frame .45s aside from the 1911 I am always open to suggestions. I don't know every gun on the market but I do try to take my time and research potential buys if you know any I missed I am willing to be schooled.

Under my pillow:

I'll even have the suppressor on it too.

Under my mattress (its easy access):

Its personally my choice of mid to long range.
