Had a couple bomb threats and a minor kitchen fire once. Nothing serious though.

Oh and one time this jerk from a different school came in looking to fight with a guy a grade above me. Something about the guy from my school dating the jerk's girlfriend. The jerk had the guy up against the wall by the throat. One of my friends was there though and he is built like a fucking tank. He tossed the jerk down the hall without trying and that was the end of that.

I've been stabbed by the boyfriend of a girl that I was sorta kinda dating (who told me she was single) when I started college, but that didn't happen on campus, so I'm not sure if that counts. XD
Wait what exactly happened?

Well, first off, many schools have uniforms, not only catholic schools, just letting you know. Now, as for me, last week I got to go home 3 hours early when the water in my school broke. It's an all boys school. You can see how it would be a problem right?

My high school was placed on lockdown when some parent spotted an adult carrying a rifle in the building.

Turned out to be one of the teachers with an Airsoft weapon intended for a physics experiment which he did every year.
Muahrharharharharharharharharharharhahr, boy do I love parents, did they at least apologize to the teacher (the experiment sure wasn't so bad - right)?

My little story? Not as intriguing as your experiences.

I was giving a supplementary afternoon class when someone threw a firecracker into the school. School got iffy green plastic carpets all over the place, so yeah, lot of smoke and stuff. Later even firefighters and the like. But me instead of proceeding to lock the door and put a red "emergency sign" on the window stating: "We are alive and need to be saved!" I just checked the corridor and the exit and told my students that if they don't do anything stupid they can simply exit the building now on the fastest possible route.

I checked no one was missing and I broke the little glass thing and pushed that nice red Emeregency Firefighters Button while humming happily "the roof, the roof, the roof is on fire"
Once I got outside as well I asked one of my kids if they all survived and called it a day. Informed my constituent and got paid full for only half the time actually working.
Fun experience, sad it only happened once so far.

Sorry, maybe because its late but I can't see how it would (or wouldn't <= implying sarcasm) be a problem. So if it's not too emberassing just tell or send me Private Message with juice details... Because I don't get it.

So it was after school today and I was at football practice. Just as practice was ending and my teammates and i all gathered around our coach when see the school athletics director walking towards us. She tells us that the police have surrounded the building as there was an armed man in the lower part of the building who had crawled through a window to escape from police. Suffice to say no one on my team could get there stuff from the locker room. Luckily we all found ways to get home despite the temporary loss of glasses phones keys and uniforms (catholic school) we also had to bring our pads home. Anyway just wondering if anything equally exciting happened in your school, job, etc?
wow that's a bit odd, you'd think the dumbass would go for something less populated...

we had a shooter one time at the mall that was a half mile down the road from us, which in turn made our school go into super lockdown..(you might have heard of it, it was back in 08' or 09', westroads mall, a guy AK'd down 10+ civilians/workers at the mall for no reason and was taken down)

hah well i remember one year, one of my friends who doesn't give a FUCK about anything basically, had a funny response...(and now comes the backstory)

we had a super annoying **** of a teacher, and at least 2 times a week she would ***** at us saying how this stuff isn't hard and how life would be so easy if we just payed attention and did what she did (she was awful at teaching, but most of us learned it just fine anyways) and one day she was getting so stressed she said

*in stressed out woman voice* "GOD, SOMETIMES I JUST DON'T FEEL LIKE COMING TO SCHOOL TO TEACH YOU KIDS!"

my friend, without missing a single nano beat, instantly responded "GOD,SOMETIMES I JUST FEEL LIKE COMING TO SCHOOL WITH A BOMB STRAPPED TO MY CHEST!"

didn't flinch/blink/smile or nothin, the teacher turned in horrified anger/fear and least to say, he was suspended for 2 weeks. but oh fucking lord almighty, that was probably in the top 5 moments of times i laughed hardest in high school, it was so fucking funny.

My school once had a bomb scare. It was real as well. It blew up a hallway. Did a puny amount of damage, did nothing but scorch some paint.

Well, I liked this girl in one of my classes, we flirted a bit and ended up at her place and started fooling around. I heard a noise and looked up just in time to see the boyfriend she wasn't supposed to have coming at me with a knife. Luckily, I know knife take aways from my Aikido classes, so the only one seriously hurt was him, and I got a cool scar on my right shoulder out of the deal. Didn't see the girl after that though, and dislocated (or nearly) shoulders heal given time. XD

Well, some kids from my old grade school got blown up in a car bomb with their dad, but they survived. I think they're still in the hospital right now. I wasn't still there when it happened, though.

You, OP are a lucky son of a gun for not being in the building at the time.

My college had a bomb scare one summer. I was there. And in the wing we were in, the *PLZ evacuate now, there's a bomb threat* alarm wasn't installed properly.

IE, a security guard barged into our class, saying "what the hell are you still doing here?! The alarm went off almost 10 mintes ago! GET GOING!".

And I thought it was all a drill....until I saw cops outside, and I noticed that the SMG he was holding was DEFINITELY not a toy...that's when it sank in and I went "oh dear....This is real, isn't it?"

Fortunately, in my case, the whole thing was a false alarm.

I had a couple of guys post they was going to massicre the students at my school on 4chan with a picture of them flaunting a gun.

St. Aelreds catholic technology college (being demolished at the moment)

And well, yeah 4chan shopped them in to the cops, police arrested them, found the gun was fake, and gave them a fine for wasting police time.

Walk into a shop with a finger up your shirt shouting for cash, and you get done for armed robbery and jail time here. Threaten to shoot up a school in less than 24 hours with a pretty good replica, a small fine and a slap on the wrist.

Long story short, the girl and I ended up at her place and her boyfriend walked in on us fooling around. She said she was single, and I was a little surprised when I saw a guy coming at me with a knife. Luckily, no one was permanently injured. Unless you count scars, but it looks cool, so I'm a little forgiving about it. XD

This all started after school ended mayhaps he thought everyone was really gone? Or that there were only a few teachers and custodians left due to the few cars in the parking lot and that teach sounds like someone who had stars in her eyes at one point concerning her shiny new teaching license then she realized the reality of modern teaching. Unless you're teaching at the college level or for private/catholic schools with very high tuition then it just seems like a poor career, no, life choice.

Oh, I do know one, actually.

I was sitting in the library one day, and was there for several hours, when all of the sudden, "It is now safe to return to the third floor, the unattended bag has been taken care of."

I looked over to the guy sitting a few tables down from me (we were on the first floor) and asked him if he knew anything about the mysterious "unattended bag" since he was there when I got there about three hours or so before, and he said it was the first he'd heard of it. Great to know that my college has my safety in mind when it comes to possible bombs. Sure, it was two floors above me, but it still would have been an inconvenience.
