Play some random game modes on TF2 or go purchase Bastion which was extremely enjoyable, at least for me.
TF2 is a major time sink though, I've had it for years, once you get bored of it, simply find another game mode and suddenly it's a whole new game!
-Saxton hale mod (basically one man army)
-Death Race (1 guy setting off traps, everyone trying to survive the obstacle course)
-Huntsman Hell (Everyone gets jarate and a flaming huntsman, chaos ensues)
-Heavy Boxing
-PropHunt (hide and seek)
-Hidden (similar to saxton hale except weaker but invisible)
-Zombie mod

And the list goes on!

If all else fails go watch some anime.

Hulu. Watch videos. Pick an anime and start watching. Don't like the first couple episodes? There are dozens more series to be had.

But you asked for games, so I will oblige as best I can.

I see you played Oblivion and Skyrim. Have you started playing with mods? If not, the Steam Workshop has some great things, but you'll find those mods and more off places like Nexus Mods.

I recently started playing Dust: An Elysian Tail. I've always had a soft spot for games like this, 2D beat-em-ups with charming characters and art style.

Bulletstorm is an FPS with more energy and balls-to-the-wall fun than most games I've played recently. And Steve Blum, which is a plus.

Cave Story+ is a game I've bought more than once, because it's really, really good, and deserves all my money.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I've played this game much longer than I really needed to, just so I could go through the whole thing unseen.

Dishonored. See Deus Ex.

Thanks guys, i have been meaning to re watch bleach, il get downloading that.
~TF2? i may have looked at it when i got a free item but don't really remember it that well, il take a look at it.
-bulletstorm, sounds interesting, i will look it up, fast paced action might get my heart beating faster without other people.
-I have modded them both like mad, but when a really good mod doesnt work for me, (The fallout 3 new faction one come to mind) i get mad, Might give it a new go.

Il look into Dust: An Elysian Tai, Deus Ex and Bulletstorm.

Please keep them coming, can never have too many good games.

You don't have TF2. What's wrong with you, not having the best hat-viewing FPS that also happens to be free?

I've got over 2000 hours in TF2, it's my most played game by a longshot. I would be playing TF2 now if it wasn't so late and I had already played around three hours of it already.

You could always try out some of the free to play games that arent on your list. Ive been playing warframe a lot lately and its pretty good once you get the hang of it. Some others Ive tried and enjoyed include Star trek online, DC universe online, Champions online. You could also look into non-steam games like Raiderz, Neverwinter, Dragons Prophet, Tera Online, Path of Exile, and realm of the mad god. Since theyre all free to play you can try them out with no risk

Kerbal space program!

Its a NASA simulator if it was run by little green idiots. It's a sandbox game where you fly around a solar system doing rocket science!

You can get really deep into the game building massive space stations and do calculations on building the perfect rocket, or just strap some rockets to some poor dude and watch him fly off into the sky (and then back into the ground moments later).

there's a demo out on steam. only get your home planet and its moon along with some basic rocket stuff, but its still a lot of fun

Kerbal space program, i think il try the demo.
Star trek online was a little boring before it went FTP, and now all the stuff i had is out of date, it would be like going back to wow and having to gear up again, but il look at the free to play stuff.
I have no skill with making anything, but i might look into it if all else fails.

You can do what I did and start playing every free MMO at once until you find one you like. I ended up sticking with Dragon's Nest for a while before getting bored.

On the other hand, reinstall Skyrim, install the Alternate Start or Randomized Start mod and start doing challenge playthroughs. For instance, you could do the Iron-Only challenge, the Non-Adventurer challenge, any of the Ironman challenges, or the Rags-to-Riches challenge.

If all else fails, start looking into GOG.com.

Spec Ops: The Line and Mirror's Edge maybe? The former for its story, the latter because it's 3D first person platforming actually done well.

The Battle for Wesnoth if you're looking for turn-based strategy. It's also free (open source).

On the RPG side I can recommend Two Worlds 2. After the rough beginning, the game gets a lot better. Also a very cool magic system to experiment with. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning if you haven't looked into it. Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines and Bioshock Infinite are both worth a look too (the latter isn't an RPG, but the story is damn good).

Alice: Madness Returns is worth a look. Leaving the horrendous DRM aside, the game is a nice platformer (albeit with frustrating combat).

Coursera (https://www.coursera.org/), that's what I do when I am bored and have free time. There are basic programming courses should you decide to follow ThriKreen's advice.

Tanakh, thanks for reminding me.

Programming courses are not really required, but 3D Modeling and using an image modifying software (like Paint.NET for textures) are things you're going to want to learn when making a game.

As engines I recommend the CryEngine 3 or Unreal 3. In my opinion, Unreal is much harder to learn. If you want to make an FP or TP game, the CryEngine 3 is going to be easier to use (it gives you a bunch of things to boot, along with fully dynamic shadows meaning you don't have to do them yourself; it also gives you TOD automatically and supports very big maps up to 265x265km), even with the buggy max and maya exporters. I'd be happy to help if you choose to do so. I can't help with using 3D modeling software, but I can teach you how to use 2D imaging software and using Sandbox (the CE3 editor).

Instead of playing games, try making one?

this.

Let me tell you a tale of a text based flash programming GOD, who made his first text based game to give back to the community for all the free games he has played.

Since starting it, he has been able to quit his job and support his wife and two kids by donations.

FOR A TEXT BASED FLASH GAME.

then, he had a crazy idea, make another text based game set in space and is to be even more massive than his original game, make a kickstarter like drive, and make it as soon as possible.

his goal? about $3,000 I can recall.

Ending donations? $170,000.

for. a. text. based. flash. game.

Thats not the funny part, sometimes for donation days he would get some that requested him to take a break and play some TF2 or other games.

GETTING PAID TO PLAY OTHER GAMES.

this awesome person that I am completely 100% not jealous of in any way shape or form is Fenoxo.

but yea, if you are that bored, start making a game you want to play.

or read a book.

actually, just read a book, because reading is fun.
Best post I've read all day. Thanks for the much-needed kick in the ass sir!

as for the idea of making a game, not really sure that's my thing, looking at How much work it is, sounds less fun then just doing another 5 hours at work.

I would read a book, but my new one isnt out for a while.
I downloaded all this bleach but i find myself trying to get men into space.
