I don't know where exactly to put this (none of the escapist forums are actually about the escapist as a whole unless I"m missing something obvious) but the vast majority of the content I consume here is video content and the intro that every escapist video has with the E in Escapist being rewritten with that obnoxious "HA" has literally been grating on me for years. I don't how that intro managed to last so long and always just assumed it would go away eventually. Do people here actually like the intro? Like I feel like it would be so much more...inoffensive if it just removed the laugh.

I don't mind it too much, although I see where you are coming from. I think it would make the intro better, but I'm not too pissed about it I just miss when Ben Croshaw used to use music in his intros, because they always fit the episode. Now it's just the same music each time haha.

It's a wee bit annoying, I give you that. Worse than the one preceding it.
That said, however, it's mercifully short and much better than the ridiculous amount of ads that plague other reviewing sites and streaming services.

It's short so It doesn't bother me too much, it does start to grate but eh, what can ye do (besides just skip the 3 second intro)

I have three threads open in different tabs right now and you have a different avatar in each of them. WTFZOMGBBQ

On topic, it doesn't really bother me, but I liked the film reel better.

I also share NewQuest's mourning of the loss of personalized Zero Punctuation intros, but copyright issues are a female dog.

I thought I'd get used to it after they changed it from the old film strip but it just bugs me every time I watch a video.

Eh I find it best to just go along with the "HA!" Mask over it with your own voice and maybe it won't be as annoying... though you will get funny looks if you do that at uni -_-


Also the Zero Punctuation and Escape to the Movies were decent changes but now the songs get on my nerves and I miss the music they picked out.
