Ive always seen more people claiming they have been hacked, or someone is cheating than Ive seen actual hackers or cheaters via XBL.

Almost every time ive seen that accusation it was because someone suffered a death they didnt feel was justified.

Not saying it doesnt happen, but it seems like an incredibly low occurrence ratio
I agree with this.

The amount of hacking accusations I get on Black Ops just because my favourite class (Lightweight Pro, Sleight of Hand Pro, Marathon Pro, Dual-HS10, Dual Python) gives me a ridiculous advantage in close-quarters. If they were to see me play an open map there's no way they'd think I was cheating...!!

I've seen a couple of major hacks in MW1, just reset the console and find a new lobby. Microsoft is doing a lot of banning and disabling consoles for online play, unfortunately there's only so many of them for the squillions of hackers. Making some progress though.

I would suggest you lighten up losing points in a game is no big deal.
Except of course for all the time you lost earning those points in the first place. If you lost all your save data at the final stage you'd be rightfully pissed off because the time and effort you've spent has all been wasted.

Is it the end of the world? Of course not. But if you invest time and effort into something and have what you worked for taken away the proper emotional response is distress.
No it would not be, I would still have all the enjoyment I got from playing the game.

Fair enough. For me, I don't like having the results of my effort taken from me. I will enjoy the time I spent playing, for sure. But If I have achieved something and lost it all, I can choose to do it all again (which I don't mind unless it is forced on me), or I can choose to move on to something else and not complete the game, neither of which I'm very fond of. (I know ranked multiplayer games technically have no end, but I don't play those for the most part.)

I think it's agree to disagree on this.

In all my 5 years of XBL and hundreds of hours in CoD and halo from MW1 and halo 2 to reach and Black ops I have never ever seen a hacker unless I was on xlink.
