I am also a proud owner of a hairy chest. I don't care what anyone says, men are not meant to be hairless. It looks unnatural.

EDIT: I've had hair for so long it has become a part of my identity. I feel naked if I even shave my face smooth.
Ninja'd, Real people are hairy, if they aren't they are children or unhappy with their natural appearance, Hairy people unite!
AMEN BROTHER!!

I have a bit of hair on my chest. Body hair in general is fine by me, on both sexes.
If someone told me to shave my chest (or legs, or armpits, or anything equally ridiculous), I'd laugh in their face.

A hairy chest best suits some one who is... physically fit. That is where the masculine look comes from, you have to have both to pull it off.

Nobody wants to see a hairy chest on someone scrawny.

Chest hair is gross and unnatural and not masculine at all! And I'm not just saying that because I only have a two inch by three inch patch of peach fuzz between my pecs and I'm in my mid 20s.

...

Demmit! I'm a man! even if my beard grows full on one side and patchy on the other ...

Seriously though, in my experience women generally consider a hairless chest to be a more attractive chest. There are exceptions though. Of course a nice chest trumps all. Not that I wouldn't trade my smooth, sculpted chest for thick mat of manly hair. Oh to dream ...

I have no hair on my chest and I'm glad I don't. I hate all my body hair, and if it wasn't such a huge effort I'd probably shave my arms and legs.

As a guy, I couldn't care less actually. There's a point where it looks weird though. If you have full and thick chest hair or none at all, they both look OK. It's when you get chest hair like mine, which is thin and doesn't cover well, that it looks...weird. My friend had such a problem, but never shaves it or anything. It's not too much of a problem since I've only ever seen him without a shirt on wen we go to the pool or something.

I shave mine, mostly because I'm whipped and my gf doesn't like it, and partially because it doesn't cover well and looks weird.

Eh, I don't have any chest hair and appear to be incapable of growing any. Which is fine, really... never given it much thought, anyway.

Now, as for my beard: It's not coming off. Never ever.
I'm all for shaving/waxing/whatever any other body hair, but if you won't let a man have his beard then go away and leave me be.

I have always been hairy and I too have experienced mixed reactions.

I always got teased in school about my hairiness and it kinda brang me down a bit. But these days I am a proud owner of my chest rug and manly thick beard.

My gf absolutely loves how hairy I am and all my mates now days say never to get rid of it.

Fuck all those rug haters out there. You are man the hairy hunter, the way we are ment to be.

I like my hair, it's a part of me. Some can grow more, some can grow less, but mine is mine. If a girl is turned off by body hair, facial hair or head hair, then that is really her problem, I'd never change an aspect of me I like to suit someone else.

I myself am of the hirsute nature so my vote goes for chest hair naturally, but then I've never really had anyone in a position to comment on it (I don't do shirtless)

Those few girls who have been in such a position all seem to be in enjoyment of it, but then I don't really know how they felt.

I say, be comfortable whatever you got and don't let people tell you how you should be.

All my current gfs have liked the smooth chests. Assuming theyv not just being lying to me my general experience has led me to believe most girls (or at least my type of girls) like hairless chests
You believe correctly. I'm okay with a little chest hair but a lot sorta freaks me out.
