I like hairy chests on a guy, usually. I like to run my hands through it. Maybe I'm just weird though. :D
Nope, my girlfriend likes doing that too, and I like when she does it. On the thread itself, my chest hair grows naturally in the shape of a bird with wings spread. It is the one area on my body that I will never shave under any circumstance. I keep the hair on my head short and my face smooth, if a girl was ultra particular about legs or whatever else I wouldn't mind, but my chest hair is my personal crest and it will always be there.

my stance is that whatever natural amount of chest hair you grow is how much you should have; flaunt it if you go it, cry in shame if you dont (jk).

im no fan of the hairless, androgynous matrix batteries it seems modern culture wants to turn men into; body/facial hair is a defining characteristic of men, it is/should be the male equivalent of breasts...hell, some guys get hair implants after all.

I had more hair than the rest of my swim team combined, and proud of it! Sure the ladies were not very impressed with it, but that's one less thing that I have to worry about. Only bad thing was was that it took me 4 hours to shave it all at the end of the season.

I'm hairy all over, unfortunately. I've always liked it that way, though. I have long hair and, even though I originally despised them, I've grown a beard and mustache. I generally don't like the way I look and I'm too lazy to change it, so when I go out to a beach or a pool, I wear a white shirt. Also, I'm a wuss and burn like a cricket under a magnifying glass when I'm in the sun, so I generally prefer to stay covered.

Don't get me wrong, after working at UPS I'm not in terrible shape, though not good shape either. However, I usually have a few ingrown hairs on my chest and stomach. But, I wouldn't shave it off because someone told me too. If you like it,and you want to keep it, don't listen to all the people that try to tell you what to do with your body.

The only place I like my hair is on my head.
Every other place is clean or atleast trimmed.

I have a nice mix of not really having a hairy chest, but having a decent coloured amount in the right places. I kinda have the bohemian face hair thing going on, more out of lazyness than style, and I'm pretty physically fit as well as tall. I've never had problems with the ladies to be fair. My best mate has a man rug, and it significantly less popular with the ladies, despite being better looking in the face. Go figure

I have a middle amount of chest hair which is kind of in a diamond-with-the-top-chopped-off shape which leads down to some hair of my stomach which in turn leads. . . well, you get the idea.

I didn't used to like my chest hair but that was mainly because I didn't have any friends with much body hair. . . but then I realized I have a decent but not huge amount of chest hair and along with that I have the ability to grow a beard in a weeks time, all with out any back hair issues.

the main thing I worry about now (chest hair wise) is whether or not it obstructs the view of my chest and what I hope will soon be a six pack.

Chest hair is awesome. As long as it isnt chest-rug 2000 Manbearpig edition. But most body hair is gross. I hate hair in my armpits and in the arse. That stuff in the arse should be removed through genetic tampering and stuff. Its gross and it literally fricking eats toilet paper.

This is among the many things I do not give a fuck about.
Probably because I do not plan on having a completely bare torso in front of anyone ever.

I am also a proud owner of a hairy chest. I don't care what anyone says, men are not meant to be hairless. It looks unnatural.

EDIT: I've had hair for so long it has become a part of my identity. I feel naked if I even shave my face smooth.
Ninja'd, Real people are hairy, if they aren't they are children or unhappy with their natural appearance, Hairy people unite!
AMEN BROTHER!!

Queue picture of hairy-less (except one) hands?

Bit of hair nearly everywhere on me, so far too much to be a vain/self-concious little wretch and remove it all.

Go be a underwear model if you want to shave your chest. We should respect the decisions of our chromosomes. Not the idiots we hang out with.

Providing you don't look like a sheep skin rug then it's probably okay. Personally, I always find it a bit gross when a guy has his top shirt buttons undone and there's one of the PSP dustballs peeking out 'shudders'.
