Half-Life 3 Endings

Just because the contract is completed doesn't mean there can't be more games. The next half life game could begin with G Mans plan Phase 2, or even him without a plan. Basically, theres not many potential endings that could happen without a possible sequal. Gordon dies? Time Travel trick, hes back in an alternate timeline. World Destroyed? Freedom Fighters escape to Xen and try to rebuild a semblance of a life with the vorts, opposing any combine that have traveled there. Combine utterly Annialated? Bring back Race X, or another sentient race, or some government conspiricy that was forced underground. Basically, if a franchise needs to be continued, you can discover a way, particularly when theres a lot of technology or magic.

It turns out that Gordan Freeman actually killed Laura Palmer and the whole black mesa/City 17 thing was just a massive, entertaining distraction. Then you find out that the G-man is actually Gordan Freeman.

Actually, I'd like to see Shephard and GLaDOS both involved somehow. Maybe the Borealis has a duplicate GLaDOS program? After all, wasn't she bragging that she was "Still Alive"?

How about an interquel? Show what happened during the 7 hour war. Show how Barney and all the other Black Mesa folk ended up in City 17. Fill in some of the gaps between half life and half life 2.

I think it will be in two parts,

1. Gordan and the vortigaunts will look for the advisors that are around white forest.
They have to kil both of them before anyone else is harmed, That would be a good time for barney to come in as well.
2. Gordan and alyx will head to the borealis. They will open a portal to another world And a
race ( Could be Race X or the xenians ) controlled by the the Gman Will come in. Gordan Relises what he has done, But knows he's too weak to fight the Gman. Then all of a sudden, Your in a room, And about 20 advisors come out of nowhere. And your pushed back on the wall.
Gman takes you and puts you in his small dimension, where nobody can stop the advisors form attacking you. Then the vortigaunts managfe to get in and theres so many of them and they attack the advisors. As for gman, Well He runs away and then the credits roll.

The human resistance finds out a way to stop the Combine once and for all.(by destroying a base of theirs or something.-_-) But the only one that can go there to plant the bomb is Gordon, and he'll have to stay there to insure that it goes off. Alyx is heartbroken and desperately ask if there is any other way. A scientist tells her that if Gordon was to make a run for it after the bomb was planted, the Combine would be able to defuse it. She accepts that Gordon must go, but before he dose, she embraces while crying,and finally tells him that she loves him. Gordon embraces back and leaves. Barney tells him sadly "Good luck".
Gordon is then teleported to the Combine base and sets the bomb. For several minutes, Gordon shoots down wave after wave of Combine adversaries. Then, when Gordon is down to his last bullets, the bomb goes off. Just before Gordon is caught in the blast, the G-Man appears and congratulates him for surviving for so long. He tells him that, as a reward for doing so well, the G-Man will allow him to live. Gordon is then teleported to a room he doesn't reconise. He sees a woman weeping at a table. The woman hears him and looks up. It is Alyx, who then rushes up to Gordon, telling him how she thought she would never see him again. They embrace and as the screen fades to black, you hear a deep male voice say "I love you Alyx."

Yeah, i know it's a bit iffy, but it's the best I could wright right now.

Gordon and Alyx get naughty, then 9 months later, you are standing in a hospital while she's giving birth. Suddenly, she gives a huge push, and a headcrab flies out of her ****** and eats Gordon's brains out. This should happen right after the Ultimate Happy Ending where all evil is annihilated and Gordon gets the girl.

I think the O.P's idea sucked. Stories that turn out to be dreams just piss me off. It makes me feel like I've wasted my time.

I think that Gordon should kill G-Man. Just because.

I think that after gordan kills a crapload of advisors as the game's final bosses, gman comes up and says something like "well done gordan, however, my employers seem to no longer require your services" he then pulls a gun out of his brief case and points it at gordan's head...
the screen then fades black...

You know, I have my theories about who the G-Man is and what his aims are, but I can't speculate on what's going to happen in Episode 3. I have no idea what's on the Borealis that Eli was so scared of, but I expect to recognize that there were a lot of hints in the previous episodes once the game comes out.

Gordon gets to a superportal in space,then walks into it.Everyone in the last 3 games,dead are not,have birthday hats and scream out "Happy Birthday!" Gordon then says "For Me?"

Then the universe ends.

It's not really convincing themselves now is it. Everyone has their own opinions, people will genuinly like it.
