I am bad at all 2D Mario games. I have only beaten one and it was New Super Mario Bros Wii 2 Player.
I am also bad at RTS' I could only beat enemies on easy if there were many.

Any sports games (except for boxing). Also, any dance games. Ironic, since I am a former boxer and current dance instructor.

All of them. No, really, I suck at videogames. I get lost in a circular room, my reaction time is terrible (I'm not young and I have cerebral palsy, so...) so god help me jumping and platforming, and I can't see the grenade RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE unless it's sparkling or my face bumps into it.

But somehow, Halo (not on multiplayer, lol oh god) campaign and (especially) firefight was built for me. I can play that fucking thing on legendary. I'm muddling through everything else on easy but I play that on legendary. Explain this to me, because I'm not getting it.

Any game that involves competing against another human player. You name it, if it involves 2+ player competition, I suck at it.

In all honesty, I'm not great at the majority of the games I play or have played. I've got terrible luck when I play Mario Party, I always get spinyshelled when I play Mario Kart, etc.

Come to think of it, the only game I've ever been great at is probably World of Warcraft...and Carmageddon.

I was awful the first time round playing Human Revolution, I mean, my god I was bad. I couldn't sneak past without alerting everyone, couldn't kill them because I didn't have any weapons, you know because of the sneak run. I had to repeat so many rooms again and again and it's not even that hard. Fortunately on my second play through I said, fuck you and your no kill run and just killed when I needed to, had me an awesome emergency pistol, killed everyone 1 hit. Online multiplayer I'm also very average bordering on bad. I get kills and I'm not a detriment to the team, but I wouldn't ever say I'm their knight in shining armour, which is a shame because my armour tends to be very shinny, probably just copper.

Ha I came to this thread with just fighting games in mind. Now after reading a bunch of posts I am amazed at how many game genres I am just awful at. All online shooters (TF2 exception), most RTS games, all fighting games, turn based strategy games, pvp in mmos. Sigh . . . just give me the penguin hanging from a stick. whoopa wooo.

Call of Duty Black Ops. I had about a 1.7 KDR on BFBC2, but Black Ops, 0.8.

Although, I will say this: I am an excellent flag runner.

EDIT: I'm also probably hopeless at RTSs because I've only played one and it was the singleplayer. I took a LONG time to get anything produced because I would not settle for crappy units even if it meant my base was unprotected.

I'm at least decent at most other types of games.

I blow chunks at League and Guild Wars 2.
Other than that I'm pretty good at whatever I play other than large strategy games. I'm usually within top 3 of any shooter match I'm in and very rarely have trouble in an rpg other than Dragon Age.
That could be due to how much effort (I assume) it takes to do well at dragon age (Pc version not console (yes in this case it does make a difference)) with me just wanting to blaze through the story and watch the characters develop and my latest bad ass emerge.

I would say that I'm decent at lol... on a good day. I am a person that questions my actions a bit too much, wasting time in the jungle, or staying too long in a fight. Or I just convince myself to do stupid things when I'm already losing and getting impatient.

Maining singed has certainly promoted those aspects though, because I can get away with it. Oh no, I've been ganked because I've been pushing for the last four minutes?

Ult, ghost, fling, run to tower.

tunnel vision is always fun. Hey guys! I flung the carry! (all my teamates are two miles away because I chased too hard and now I'm all alone in the middle of their team.)

I'm exaggerating a bit, but over a 45 minute game, these moments happen, and they stick out above the rest.

First person shooters. If I don't know the map inside and out, I'm pretty much useless.

I blow ass at sports games, I get SO bored!

The last time I played a football game (Fifa 10 I think it was) I lost because I got too many red cards.

I would like to get better at LoL even though i'm pretty sure i'm better than the average. sitting at 1099 elo trying to hit silver, I should hopefully soon.

Also Chess. The OP didn't specify video games amirite? So yeah I was always pretty shocking at Chess and got beaten by my 7 year old cousin.
If you are on EU west you are more than welcome to play with me, I'm pretty good at LoL, I don't play ranked however. It's not good for my sanity.

I tend to do well in most games tbh, but I suck at sports games (that aren't tennis or golf :p) like fifa and so on.
No matter what I will lose :p

Also modern shooters like call of duty. I rock at some older fps' but the new 'busy' ones just seem too hectic or ropey. I was really bad at halo 3 multiplayer until I realised the existence of the battle rifle. I went from bottom of the leaderboard to top overnight.

I am fully rubbish at MMORPGrs. If I try to heal I end up healing the wrong people. If I try to tank I fuck up managing the aggro. If I try to debuff I lose track of what debuffs I've cast on whom and get all confused. If I attempt DPS I die.

I am also fairly awful at driving. IRL and in games.

Gonna have to go with RTS games. I'm between decent to amazingly good on any other genre but I can't seem to hack the RTS genre.

Pretty much most platform-style fighting games - with the exception of Streets of Rage.
This could just be that the people I used to play these with were dicks in the respect that they only played those style of games and just used the same overpowered combo's over..and over...and over.

It depends what you class as "Bad" then. My KD wasn't that good in Battlefield but I always came in the top 3 for doing the objectives. Same on halo, I was an awesome oddball/flag carrier!

Real time strategy games. I've just never been able to get good at them. When I put my mind to it, I can play a FPS with approximately professional levels of skill, but I can't even put my mind to RTS games. Ruse, World at War, Empire Earth II, all games I've tried only to be miserable at them. Heck, I'm not even terribly good at things like Sim City.
I'm acceptable at the Total War games, though, especially when I'm defending a castle.
