Super Mario Bros.

I am the only person alive that is terrible at Super Mario. I can handle his kart racers, his RPGs, his party games, his 3D adventures but when it comes to the classic 2D platformers, I am the worst.

Frozen Synapse. I love strategy, and most of the time I'm pretty decent at it, but that game just completely throws me. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing and most of the good stuff I did on it was pure coincidence.
I have no idea if I'm any good at the single player because I didn't play it. Several friends and I all bought whatever bundle it was that had the game and started playing against each other, and at first I was probably losing about 2/3 of the time. After a few days something suddenly clicked though, and I just "got" it and how most of them thought, and I think I somehow ended up highest ranked in our little group after pulling a series of absolutely absurd predictions out of my ass. It was like I developed the ability to read their minds over the Internet or something. Heh.

I'm awful at roguelike games like Nethack and the Binding of Isaac.

I guess my problem is that I'm not good at genres that need a lot of dedication and memorizaion to be good
I mostly don't have the patience for Nethack, as much as I like a lot of things about it, but I'm pretty decent at ones more like BoI. If I'm going to invest that much into getting better at a game, I either want to retain my progress or at least not have to start over from 20 hours back if I screw up. The Binding of Isaac fits with that (you can beat it fairly quickly in one sitting if all goes well). Nethack does not.

Oh and LoL. Yeah i've been playing it for a few months straight now. Yeah I still suck, what of it? I'm liking how Poppy is so simple to beast with now i've picked her back up. Get ganked by jungler? Press R on the jungler, kill the jungler and walk away.

You know the horrible tunnel vision you get in teamfights and chases? Y'know "Rarg must focus the carry *runs through 4 other people and gets mauled*" That's Poppy's forte.

I feel like The Terminator.

"Sarah Fortune?"

"Yeah?"

"You are terminated. By DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY!"
Oh Wyky, your LoL posts always make me... lol.

Seriously though, I have to echo this. I've found myself playing as Soraka quite a bit now, and it's pretty hard.

What's that you say? "Soraka's one of the easiest champions to learn?" Oh, I'm not talking about her learning curve, I'm talking about having to deal with those little fuckers that expect you to be a god-damn superhero and ALWAYS heal them. [sub]Entitled little fucks...[/sub]
Oh god, you think that's annoying try playing Shen. Such a badass global ult yet everyone expects me to save them and only them every time they fuck up. It has a huge cooldown and I can't be wasting it when you rambo in 2v1 and expect my shield to soak up all that damage. I love using it to fuck over them pesky tower divers though...

I do agree on Soraka, some people seem to think you can spam a 15/20 second heal and they're obviously the MVP of the game so they deserve all teh healz.

Still Soraka is the easiest support to counterpick since her heals make or break her character, oh Tristana and MF have anti-heal buttons good luck with that. She has no natural escape options and can't fight for shit.

Give me Sona or Leona any day, I can escape anything with those two. Boots of Swiftness make Sona untouchable and Leona... Is well, Leona. She just triple stuns chasers and activates God Mode.

Any fighting game that isn't a Smash Bros title, but that's fine because they tend to devolve into password inputting anyway.

Catpcha: Hard and fast.

Oh my.

warcraft III frozen throne and starcraft I, which is odd since i consider myself an RTS fan. On WC3 i only play on easy mode against the comp... but still sometimes lose lol.

DDR. My feet are just terrible at staying in one spot, and my timing with them is terrible. I lose even on the easiest tracks.

Pretty much any fighting/RTS games for me, I'm too lazy to learn the combos for fighting games and for RTS' I always just make a load of units and rush the enemy, doesn't really work a lot of the time xD

TF2. I just can't do crap in that game. I used to be a good sniper with the huntsman, but that was on a user-made map which was really simple. I miss you Brickhouse. :(

I suck hard at AD carries in League of Legends. Gods I really suck. I'm just going to stick to top Riven. Last game I was fed as hell, it took 4 of them to bring me down, even then I took down 2 of them before being killed. 21 kills, 4 deaths, 24 assists. Was a sweet match. But then I play an AD carry like Ashe or Miss Fortune, or an AP carry like nidalee. Then suddenly I'm dead every 3 minutes and can't last hit properly. I will master Corki one day. I am determined not to suck at AD carries!

I'm also not good at Metro 2033.

Any real-time strategy ever.

I'm too much a defensive player, I try and make my base an indestructible bastion...but all I end up doing is taking ages to ever get any troops together, so they get wiped out the moment I deploy them to the battlefield while giving my opponent plenty of opportunities to either rush me or exploit a weakness I overlooked.

I can't help it! I don't want to die so much I kill myself!

I'm not very good at Fifa, I am good at the back door stuff like planning teams and buying players in manager mode but I can't do any of the skill moves and I don't enjoy tactical defending.

Boo hoo

I'm terrible at lots of thing, all games which use a mouse and involve pointing it precisely (I'm a console boy at heart. Also to be fair, I've almost never played a computer game with the mouse in the position it's supposed to be. Normally I'm sitting on a bed and the mouse is by my leg =D)

All RTS'. I would love to be good at them, because the strategy seems fun, I'm always designing SC2 plans if only I could get my head around building lots of things at the same time and switching around the map properly.

Fighting games. I don't understand them at all. I don't even understand how you're meant to be good at them. How do you spot what someone else is doing in time to actually stop it?

Racing games. I could escape the police like nobodies business on Most Wanted, driving them around for hours at a time, but if you want me to just go round a track very fast I just can't do it. I cant go around a corner never mind a track. Even on the more arcadey games my racing doesn't hold a candle to what good racers do. People who play racing games can beat me by laps and laps.

So specifically Gran Turismo, I can barely go in a straight line in that game, never mind turning a corner. Plus my only skill in car games is being able to use other cars to push off effectively and you just straight up lose for that on GT

No League and other DOTA style games for me... I just plain suck at them, even though I find the concept of those game interesting, I get put off by my pathetic lack of skill and the worst gaming community I've seen to date.

i guess i suck at game genres i don't play thanks to no practice. but otherwise i'm good at what i DO play.

if anything. i'd say i suck at easy modes in games. for whatever reason i always do WORSE on an "easy" mode than a "normal" or "hard". i can't explain it and i don't know why, but i just do. i've always been better at something the more i'm challenged (assuming the challenges can be overcome through skill and not luck) and easy modes just take all that out. so i guess i get complacent and slack off and hence die more as a result.

but hey. i'm weird.

any RTS game. no matter if I get a 30 min headstart (my buddy does this everygame) he still wins. I don't know why.. I don't know how.. but be it Band of Brothers (the military one) Starcraft, Warcraft. I can't seem to micromanage my little guys into getting what I need to get done. I can't even Zerg rush.. with a 30 min headstart...

Starcraft. I am fucking awful at that game.

Sports games and racing games are by far my worst though. I always lose and don't have fun so I try to avoid them at all costs... I was godmode at NBA Ballers though
