Halloween costume ideas

Ok, I know I'm ridiculessly early on this but if I don't start now I'll not dress up at all.

I know I want to go as either a character from 80's cartoons (but not one thats overdone), a good movie villan or dark hero or (and this would be the ultimate) a video game character.
Problem is I'm not exactly afluent, so I gotta do it on a budget... so any suggestions please?

Ninja'd, I was gonna suggest Pyramid Head. Really its easy, just make the mask out of a cardboard sheet and paint a fuckin aproan

Thrift stores, my friend! The stuff you find is cheap as dirt. And if you're going for 80s, there's often a lot of hideous 80s stuff lying around there... XD

I'm gonna be the girl trainer from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, 'cos I can make it with stuff that's just lying around my bedroom. XD (Skirt, vest, beanie, scarf.)

I did it once it didn't look this good, it lost some texture, but it wasn't that hard...
