I had an idea similar to this. In the soul eater manga Blair the Witch/Cat (don't ask) is cursed and turns male for a few chapters If I was in better shape I'd go as male Blair.

Oh yeah I've her in that anime, I've only watched the first few episodes of that anime since I didn't enjoy it too much, though. Pretty good costume idea.

build ankle stilts out of old clumps of wood and a couple belts, collect as much black cloth as you can wear, buy a cheap skullcap and some white face paint, make a scythe out a long tree branch painted black with a blade made of cardboard or ply covered in baking foil, go as an 8-9 foot high version of DEATH.

limboing under the scythe when drunk is optional but advised.

I like the fact you even gave full details... It could mean I could be a literary character instead of a computer game or movie inspired one. Good call.
