Silencing bubble, sound can't get out, but bullet can fly from it.
I'm sorry but... were you actually thinking when you typed that? On a small scale that cancels out the need to have silenced weapons, and on a larger scale HOW IS IT STEALTHY TO HAVE A BUBBLE SURROUNDING YOU.
It's called "water", the new invention from the melon-heads at Section 3.

It'll be a great game, that will totally alienate the people who bought Halo. Tactics? Cover? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHh ahh jebus.

Actually to be fair i've been playing Halo 3 and I've needed to use cover and kite a few times.
He, yea try it on Legendary, enemies that just won't die and your energy shield getting 3 shotted.

More often 2-shotted. I miss the old days of CE....

From what I understand it's both an expansion and stand alone at the same time. So it's a separate game but technically an expansion. But anyway, as has been said before I'd like more stealth gameplay out of it. Things such as firing a warning shot to catch the attention of a Brute then running away and leading him into a trap. Tranquillisers are also a must have... Possibly things like smoke grenades as well.

It would be nice to see the halo universe from the eyes of something other than a walking tank with infinite ammo. I'll probably get it, but I'll wait for some more info before I pre-order.
You, sir, have obviously not played it on legendary if you think that lol

I'd perfer if the title was something more so like:

Warhammer 40k: Imperial Gaurdsmen.

And if I even turn around in game a Commisar shoots me in the face point blank.

Actually, you get Recon armor for finishing all of the Vidmaster Challenges including those in ODST. So if you never did the first of the Vidmaster Challenges, you won't be able to get Recon by doing the Vidmaster challenges in ODST.

As far as I can tell, the game is a two-finger salute to people who say all the Halo games are the same. This makes me happy. It still looks sounds quite good anyway, although I obviously have almost no real information about the final product.

BTW, who here knows about the Brute Pimp glitch?

More importantly, playing Legendary with the skulls on, that's a real challenge. Legendary is good for making you have to take cover, but it's still not that hard.

According to weekly updates, it will be open world and you will be finding out what happened to your squad, as your pod decides to break for a few hours. There won't be any overpowering major stealth mechanics, it's still Halo. Thats all I can remember at the moment.

No major stealth? Well that's rather disappointing. You'd think Bungie would learn to listen to the fans for once...

It isn't irrelevant because one of those vidmaster achievements could only be done on one day if you had the right rank in that playlist at the right time. For people who haven't done that achievement, ODST won't help them get Recon.

Well shit, Im just trying to think of things like gadgets that will help you....good point on the bubble does not equal stealth...that would be the point, would you rather have quiet bullets or be seen easier...the thing would be like silencers would be hard to find if this concept was to work.

New Idea: Sam Fisher esc. Heat sensers and night vision.
