Halo 3 ODST thoughts

I remember seeing a thread like this ages ago where someone stated what could be massive improvements in the game.

A difficulty above legendary. Sure, the grind-fest that is legendary is fun if your a masochist... but i'm practically suicidal!

I want more involved melee combat. The chief's a one-shot kinda guy with his god-elbow, i want to see an ODST go a few round up close with a jackal. Just looking at one and having it almost as tall as me will be weird enough.

I want huge battles, massive firefights and explosions. I want to be a part of the battle, not the centerpiece.

I want the appearance of a Spartan. To see what one of the supermen look like from a mortals point of view.

I demand groovy soundtracks and some running humor. The superintendent must not be another guilty spark.

I Ultrarequest to experience the fury and excitement of a Shock-Drop.

And must. I repeat Must fight flood at some point. Because taking on those monsters as a human must be something entirely new in the realm of shit-your-pants terrorfests.

Ultrajoe has some damned good ideas.

Although some fights in Halo 3 were huge, they ended really quickly. I'd like something more along the lines of Battlefront where both armies constantly get reinforcements.
