Well, if by skill, you mean "see person, pull triger" then yes, CoD 4 has that. A lot of that.

You spray and pray way more and CoD 4, and the jumping is replaced with crouching. And the melee is replaced with a knife. All in a vain attempt to kill people.

Because it does. Unlike in CoD 4, where every suit is basically the MC's suit but with regenerating health instead of shields. Makes way more sense than CoD 4.

I've played Halo 3, and I saw enough nade spamming to last a life time. No matter what you say, I saw it.

I've played CoD 4 and have seen more grenade spamming than all the halo's combinded. No matter what you say, I was there. And I never denied nade spamming in halo 3, I just said CoD 4 has it more(hey, that rhymed!)

*sigh* My rage is for the rising trend in games nowadays that seems to cater to the online only crowd and leaving those of us with physical friends to only be able to play crappy mini-party-games.....or Smash Bros.

I have all 3 Halos, and I KNOW they are splitscreen capable, duh. But a lot more games are being released that claim multiplayer but they really mean "On Xbox Live" or "On the Playstation Network". It urks me when I go to the rental place and try and find a game a buddy and me can play, and all we really find are sports games or Mario Party.

I didn't know part of copying Horde was having a unique scoring system which was affected by the Halo 3 Gold Skulls, and sharing 7 lives with 4 players.

If that's the case, and you don't play ranked games, you may want to hold off. ODST's versus multiplayer will use Halo 3's existing play lists and rankings... indeed, as far as multiplayer is concerned that second disc is another copy of Halo 3, just with all the DLC maps.

Mind you, if you don't have the "Mythic" maps there are going to be some play lists that won't work too well... if you really enjoy them, you might indeed be better off getting a copy. And heck, you might even find "Firefight" a good fit if you're into team matches.

i was worried about that to but the only new thing is firefight, and they have the H3 multiplayer in the game so....!glee!

By the way I actually like Halo but the reason a persons opinion may differ from Star Wars to Halo is because Halo is similar between the first three in terms of gameplay, while Star Wars is a movie series, so everything is new in each one.

Halo Wars is still a Halo game, regardless of how much it sucks.
