Are there any other changes to the weapon set that we do not know about yet? For example we already know that both the SMG and the Pistol have scopes now. The BR has been removed. The Red Plasma Rifle is back.

Now I would like to know if there have been other changes along these lines. Is the blue plasma rifle in the game at all? Will the Assault Rifle have a scope now? It seems strange that an SMG would have better range than an assault rifle. Every other human weapon besides the shotgun have scopes already so why not?

Bungie have already stated it is the same multiplayer as halo 3. ODST comes with two discs; the first is the ODST campaign and firefight. The second is the halo 3 multiplayer along with every single halo map pack to date.

It's not really a question, because why does it matter? If the series takes a turn for the worse, then people will stop buying it. But to post "will you stop?" in a thread about legitimate questions to ask Bungie is trolling, i'm not saying you are, but he was. I can see your just concerned that the series might be drug out far too long and become stagnant, but I assure you, he was merely trolling.

pretty sure theyre only calling it halo: reach so gamers can recognize it. its a different story than the halo series has put out but in the same universe. ithink just like what modern warfare was hoping todo with their sequel, break off from the cod name theyre stuck with

Agreed. I thought they were going onto something new after Halo: ODST, but one more game won't really hurt. I think they do need a new IP after Halo: Reach.
