Really this isn't too surprising. Halo has a lot of rabid fanboys.

It is surprising when you consider how easy it would be for a sony fanboy to just throw in something about how many playstations 1,2 and 3 combined were returned for spontaneously breaking for no good reason though

True but the rrod isn't as relevant as the 360's penchant for eating discs... and digesting them from the looks of it.

This is probably one of those copies of Halo 3.

The disk in that picture isn't even a 360 disk the bit in the middle says Sony on it. You have to zoom in alot to see it but yeah looks to me like a PS3 did that or this guy put a PS3 game in his 360 lol.

BTW I'm not trying to say the 360 dosn't scratch disks (even though none of mine have been scratched) just that that photo shows a Sony disk of some sort. Also just to say my PS3 has never scratched any disks either.

Did you say Halo 3 was McDonalds while those games were 5 star restaurants? Resistance 1 was good, 2 was meh, both the Uncharteds were ruined by the main character, KZ2 had good multiplayer balanced by boring, cliched single player, but GoW 3 was great.

Funny how they picked 6 arbitrary ps3 exclusives instead of the 6 most sold.

Gran Turismo prologue + Uncharted 2 equal the amount of copies Halo 3 sold. And if you are going to whine about GTP not being a real game, Uncharted 2 + MGS4 outsell the number of Halo 3 copies sold.

In fact, Uncharted 1,2 and Resistance already go over the ammount of copies, so unless adding more games to the PS3 magically reduces the total number of copies sold, I call fail.

The biggest PS exclusive is yet to be released, no gran turismo game has ever sold less than 10 million copies, which is more than Halo 3 sold.

Mass Effect , L4D, Crackdown, Forza, Fable, Gears of War, Alan Wake, banjo and koozie, PGR and all the halo series. I know some are GFWL and Steam as well but I have not got a good computer system and would rather not buy one. This does not include any arcade titles or Indies titles either. Many of these games will and do have sequels which effectively doubles the exclusives.
As for the "must haves" I only see one. Heavy rain.
Considering there are 6 games I am not surprised.

Ahem, Demon's Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, MGS4, LBP, GoW3, Uncharted 2.
Coming soon: Last Guardian, Gran Turismo 5, FF Versus 13, etc...

Not to mention the downloadable PSN titles (like the excellent Pixeljunk series). That effectively doubles the exclusives.

Now we can continue to wave our d*cks around like silly people, or admit that both systems offer great games.

Yes, the only difference is that I'm still playing Gears of War 2 and L4D and such. Maybe it's just me, but the PS3 exclusives never hold my attention. And yes I've played and beat most of those you named, and more. I'm talking Heavy Rain, God of War III, MGS4, InFamous, Uncharted 1+2, Killzone 2, etc....

It's pointless for me to go on, but what I'm saying is that for some reason I feel that PS3 exclusives lack in the re-playability area.

I'm not saying they're not extraordinary games, by the way. I love my PS3.

1... That's a blu-ray disc as far as I can tell.. The 360 doesn't use them.. I'm guessing that's a ps3 disc?

2. The 360 does not do that type of damage on a disc, If you move it slightly, It creates a perfect clean circle around the centre of the disc. And only the centre

Ahh yes. I remember back before I sold my 360, the little rascal etched through my Halo 3 disc, because it had pushed Crackdown off of the disc tray. Crackdown was literally in the bowels of the three sixty when I was able to pry it out.

On a positive note, the only thing bad about Halo 3 afterwards was that I couldn't play "Cortana" (possibly the worst level of the game) and Crackdown worked pretty much perfectley. Which is good, since I have had way more fun with it than I have ever had with the Halo 3. Not saying it is a particularly bad game (I actually did like it) but Crackdown is pretty much just better. And the bin I got it out of was selling for a quarter of the price of the H3 copies.

Just what I was going to say. That was probably bigger than either Resistance game, and GoWIII only just came out, so it's bound to not have sold as much as MGs or Uncharted.

Agreed on MGS4, if they included that in the list, the numbers would be very different

Is this even a fair comparison? For one, most people are aware that not nearly as many people own a PS3 as they do 360s. Two, Halo 3 has been out for ages, whereas some of the PS3 titles listed are very recent. Of course PS3 games don't often match up to 360 games, because of the aforementioned unbalanced numbers in console ownership.

Was this whole thing even necessary for Microsoft to do?

Uncharted 1, Resistance 1 and KZ2 are not recent.

Thus my use of the words "some of." I don't want to sound like a dick, but, learn to read.
