What was your reaction to the Halo 4 trailer that was released today in E3?

I can honestly say I squealed a bit x3.

I sat stone-faced throughout the entire thing. It's not like I'm not interested, it's just that so little was revealed in the trailer that when it ended I was still left with a gigantic "wtf" going through my mind.

Hell, I'll probably buy it, as I do love me some halo, but that trailer did nothing for me.

Honestly, I got the chills. Explosions and dramatic music have that kind of effect on me.

A few of the creative designers who worked on Halo with Bungie jumped ship for 343, but for all intents and purposes they are two completely separate companies.

Very...un-Haloey, and while I feel a bit weird saying this, thats a bad thing in this case.

Seeing as this post is about the trailer rather than the game, I'll just say that its not at all made me look forward to it.

microsoft wants your team to make a game that will easily outsell any game you will ever make, even if it it the worst game in history and you say it's a bad idea?

OT: i was excited about the announcement but i kind of saw it coming since halo 3 left on a slight cliff hanger and its a giant cash cow waiting to be milked. im looking forward to the game, its a great series (in my opinion obviously) and i always had fun playing them

That's probably the only reason I haven't completely given up on this game or franchise.

I cannot say that I was surprised in the least. There is simply too much money to be made to let this dead horse remain unbeaten. So an "ugh" and immediate disinterest were my reactions.

My reaction can best be summed up as:

DUHHHHHHH theres going to be a halo 4. As if we all didn't know it wasn't right around that corner or something. Already announced, in effect, since bungie said "bye halo" but no one else at microsoft did.

Suggestion: Lets judge it on its own merits when its released!
