yeah that was badly written wasn't it? anyway the short and sweet of it all was that halo doesn't feel like halo anymore. I felt like everyone was playing the game in the exact same way using the same guns and tactics over and over again. which is from what i've played of it alot like how call of duty feels.

hope thats a little easier to understand.

you mean everyone uses the default weapons?

plus, they're decent weapons.

Doesn't that mean that the players are becoming increasingly like CoD players? Does the single player resemble CoD?

I don't play Halo online, and I have to say I've never thought that Halo resembled CoD at all.

I'm prepared to jump in and zealously defend my precious, shiny Halo from the evil communist alien-sympathising people who happen to disagree with me... if you make your post a bit more legible, kthx?

It's boring, and thus it's Call of Duty.

Um... I don't think that's how comparisons work.

The difference is that Call of Duty tries to make people use a bunch of guns, while Halo realizes that everyone will use the same two guns, and instead gives people shields so that they can use a wider variety of tactics when engaged in a firefight before they are murdered. Also, in my experience, it's always about the power weapons. If no one is using them, get one for yourself and you'll have a great time.

I'd agree with this statement. Halo has influenced the modern FPS, so it really is CoD is pretty much like Halo. Except Halo is pretty and I actually enjoy it.

Also, your post is REALLY hard to read, and arguments become invalid when posters spell poorly. Take a break from gaming and do your English homework. It will help a lot, I promise!

1) As others said, CoD copied Halo first, not the other way around.

2) Reach only updated to the gaming standards of today, not copied CoD directly.

3) Holy Triple Post, Batman!

I don't see what you're saying, and fix your writing please. It's borderline unintelligible.
What do you mean borderline unintelligible? That writing is definitely unintelligible. All I got out of it was that people in halo seem to think that it is a good idea to use the most powerful weapons.
I just read something about a regular layer on hello beach! :D

I don't understand your point but here's mine:

Halo is very far from Call Of Duty. I'm not gonna say that any of them are better but you know.

I don't remember driving a car with a turret in the back while being chased by a tank in CoD.

Why would they use anything else than the two best weapons in the game?
That means there is some kind of unbalance issue.

I can't tell, last Halo I played was the original one, and didn't touch multiplayer (no internet at the time).

the reason everyone uses dmr/pistol, they are the most effective weapons and going for the power weapons is too much hassle if you end up dead. the reason everyone has the same tactics, the game has been out for over a year so people will have worked out the best tactics to use by now, its the same story with any online game so if what you say is to be applied everywhere, what you are saying is AC is like cod, RDR is like cod, L4D2 is like cod and so on

I agree with it becoming LIKE call of duty, mostly since the armour ability choices (coincidence?) came about which annoyed me to be quite frank since halo was originally a game where you were stuck with basic weapons and had to search the field for better, stronger weapons now the whole concept is aimless as armour lock pretty much destroyed the need for strong weapons as armour lock reflected or nullified all power weapons so fists became the easier choice and blah blah ignore ranting...

but what you propose is simply foolish, they use precision weapons because you get more credits for headshots, plus the factor that they are more versatile in the 'battlefield'.
